Apex Legends Has A Huge Problem With Collection Event, Apex Legends has the new evolution collection event releasing Tuesday September 14th and with it comes a Rampart Town Takeover, Heirloom and some buffs and nerfs along with all the event skins. But with all the nw stuff also comes a huge problem. There is a major lack of a new Limited Time Mode, a new leaver penalty for regular public matchmaking and more. This marks the 2nd season in a row with no actual new content to play and just skins to buy and unless you are a Rampart main not to much is here to get people excited. We dive into everything that will be coming…and everything we wished would come as well.

Again the Eva 8 is not nerfed enough! They could have decrease the fire rate or the damage but no they just brought headshot multi in line with the other shotguns….

What ever happened to the weird plattforms on Olympus? I thought those were some hints for a CTF-esque gamemode. Guess we are not seeing that any time soon.
I meaannnnn, you can say this about EVERY collection event, so what you’re saying here is kinda biased. If you only play octane then it’s just for octane mains, if you main gibby then what do you get outta the event? So the same goes for every collection event 😅
I think the state of the game is good right now. Limited modes would bring a bit of spice, but most are just the normal with a small change. They are not neccesary, but really welcome

Considering it's a free to play game, I'm totally fine with these events. My bigger issue is that there are still massive technical issues that have existed since launch (horrendous servers, audio engine issues, and a near non-existent anticheat).

Feels like Respawn's scared that adding LTMs would mean numerous unfixable bugs like with the War Games LTMs, still doesn't excuse not adding at least one tho considering how long it's been

Yeah, Apex has gotten really stale, especially for people who've been playing since season 0, it's just the same old thing repeatedly, with no game change. Not just that, but when you play with a pre-made team, the SBMM is horrible, I've got a 1.28 KD and I've never even made platinum, and I'm constantly against masters or predators

i can see why ppl think arenas aren't that good, but I've actually played arenas as much as br if not more, the game mode is just fair with little room for bs, plus ppl are more compelled to finish a match rather than leaving at the first sight of trouble (looking at you Wraith mains)
i'd argue that ranked arenas has way more competitive integrity than br

I would love there to be an arcade where there are modes that switch out every day. Overwatch does this and it's fun to play those every so often.

This is the reason why stopped playing apex legends 5 months ago it's so boring. No LTM's at all playing the shit all the time is ass who ever does that your lame. I hate that teammates suck all the time ,they play like they never played this game before it's exhausting. I don't give a fuck about their skins you can't even see them when playing the only game that I know that you can see your skin is fortnite. I don't think I'll ever come back all friends left because all apex cares about is your money they don't give a fuck about us all they care about is your money because they know losers are gonna buy there skins.
You literally said it yourself why we are seeing less LTM's. "The last one we got was back in Season 8 with "War Games" and half of the modes were actually bugged."
Players and Content Creators are demanding too much content to be created in short periods of time which routinely results in sub-par content being released way before it's actually ready. It's the video game equivalent of processed food. It's poorly made and not filling, but it's cheap and easy and it'll hold you over until the next patch.
I definitely agree with this feeling. Don’t get me wrong, Arena is cool, but I’m honestly tired of being forced to play it for prize trackers.
I would love for their focus to go back to BR first. Hopefully the Halloween mode is fun.
I’m not one of those people who complains about recycled modes as long as the mode is fun to play on repeat. Last year’s Halloween mode was super fun to me. Top 10 LTM for sure

I don't see how arenas is a failed mode? It's been out a season and a half and they've made a lot of changes to it along the way whether it be balancing or new maps. It's honestly why I've gotten back into the game cause it is way more rewarding as a game mode. In comparison battle Royale is basically a crap shoot, you might just get unlucky(don't get me wrong the BR has its place and I understand it has to be the way it is for certain reasons). But overall I'd just rather play a more consistent/controllable environment game mode like arenas. I'm sure the game has grown because of the new mode. honestly me and my friends dabbled in Apex before but never got super into the game until arenas mode came out.

Couldnt agree more!! LTMs are sooo fun and really important. like you said skins are cool and all but they arent the only thing that keep people here. Even if they made a category like trios and duos but simply for trio LTMs that rotate. armed and dangerous, gold weapon only etc. it will keep the game ALOT more fun.
