  1. What do you mean with boring, if it's not about life or death? Sure if PVE or PVP where a main focus of the Game that would be boring, but just like the mines in Harvestmoon and stardew valley are pve based, it's not the main focus of the game and the game is still awesome. The last thing we need is yet another monster grinder.

  2. i like watching WoW but much prefer playing games like Stardew, I'm just not good at combat based games and that's fine, I get my kicks out of watching people that ARE good. but I LOVE the stress free games like Stardew where you can still see progress made but it's not solely dependant on how good you are at fighting and quick move combos n shit.

  3. Did anyone else play Star Wars Galaxies back in the day? By far the best community based mmo (before it was changed drastically to basically be a WoW clone), all the best items in game were made by player artisans, who were supplied by player resource extractors (like moisture farmers!), all high level PvE content required buffs from player doctors and entertainers, and there were entire profession progressions that were social and not combat focuses (rangers (who set up camps and trapped for animals), politicians, artisans, shipwrights, animal tamers, dancers, musicians, doctors, Medics, etc. It was a great game and I can't wait for an MMO to do something like it.

  4. Honestly, looks great to me. I've long held that WoW would've really benefited from a Housing system of some kind (I mean, it's basically the only MMO that doesn't now!), but this seems like a perfect compliment to WoW in that way. Nothing can ever really replace WoW's Raids and PvP (I love FFXIV too, but recognize its shortcomings), but I can absolutely see every now and then, you just wanna change it up, or maybe you just have a super frustrating experience on WoW and login to this game as your sort of "Zen garden".

I think it's definitely going to be important to see what the billing structure of this game is (mandatory/optional subs? F2P? cash shop for cosmetics, vs. what it earnable in-game?), but I'm cautiously optimistic. I think it's a great decision to distance itself from the "WoW-style MMO" (or some would say Everquest, I guess), opting for something a little more slice-of-life. Like I said, I could absolutely see this being a great "second MMO" for players like me that also dig Housing systems, and if there's enough customization to work with, could draw from the Animal Crossing/Stardew Valley well, too.

  5. thast reason i leave wow, their never goona lead wow graphyc to this level, they justify the game's hideous graphics with the excuse that it's their cartoonish style. Nothing further from reality

  6. Looks great, will check it out, unless the private investment is from the CCP…It does sound like there will be combat, it's just that it will be optional for those that want that, which I do! So I think it will be dangerous and you can die, but you have to go out of your way to find it and for those that don't like that, it will never come near them, that's my take anyway…

Maybe some of the mats that are needed for some crafting will be only be found from combat, but if someone wants to avoid combat, then they would trade with players directly or on an AH, something like that.

They also promised dungeons later as well, so you just know they will develop that side of the game. A game like this without combat would be soulless to me, so I hope it is done well, considering they are ex-Riot and ex-Blizzard…I don't think we have anything to worry about there!

Saying that, I really liked My Time at Portia (which had poor combat), so I think I'd really like this.

  7. Without dying and real sense of combat, it's gonna come down to the new features and social interactions the game brings that'll make it. Will there be player shops? A great variety of new jobs? Ways to travel like biomutant had or something? Why have classes without combat unless they have some sort of idea using them that's new? Social options and player choices unlike other games? I think the game could possibly be a nice chill game to bounce between. I'm interested to see the features introduced leading up to it.

  8. If this game looks even the slightest like Breath of the Wild, then i look like Tom Cruise. Bruh, this is a 1:1 Fortnite copy. Compare Breath of the Wild screenshots with this. You got to be fucking blind to think this looks alike. Now on the other hand Fortnite? 1:1 same character models.

Nothing bad about that, but just because something is colorful doesn't mean is BotW

  9. Look up Book of Travels, the Swedish studio called it TMO (Tiny Multiplayer Online). It's trying to go through uncharted waters just as much, on top of being absolutely beautiful to look at.

  10. It looks soothing. There isn't a whole lot of that in that gaming market, aside from things like Minecraft, Stardew Valley etc. Seems like it might be something nice to play when your burnt out on your primary game.

  11. If you ever had to fight in a real war and kill real people you might appreciate a "care bear" game more than the average person. I think I would like this game a lot more than I have the violent ones.

  12. All the people who don't like that it doesn't have pvp… You have plenty of games to play, many that are only pvp. It's nice to see mmo's move in a direction that doesn't just favor the best players over everyone else.

  13. best part about it? the wokeness of having non-gender characters XD
That one right there will likely murder half of their potential player-base. we'll see I guess
