Back 4 Blood (The Closed Alpha Review)

The Back 4 Blood Alpha test had a lot to unpack as a successor to Left 4 Dead while also being its own experience. What was great, what was lackluster, and what made me cry like an Ogre without its onions? Lets find out!

  1. Wow the more I've learnt about this game the worse it is. I feel like they didnt understand what people liked about the l4d series. And the 4 armed zombie looks ridiculous

  2. We keep talking about melee in games but nobody ever looks at Killing Floor 2's amazing melee.

And yea…the "ClEaNerS" dont have any meaningful dialogue .. just a bunch of crappy one liners. Which btw they're not going to record more voice lines for , too expensive(unless they already have them and just didn't implement them in the Alpha). So we're officially stuck with them.

  3. I think stamina should be like in Squad, you can sprint while using the green bar but once it's depleted, you can still run, only a little slower.

The RPK felt weird idk why and I would love to see more attachement for guns like extended mags, muzzle devices,….

  4. The game is so poorly optimized , survivors are missing animations , there's tons of bugs , Oh but you better believe they got all the DLC and microtransactions planned and fleshed out.

  5. Decks breaking modding potential like woah and this game REEKS of microtransaction hell, which is par for the course for Wanna Bux. TR just can't seem to catch a break. To add insult to injury this literally looks like a Ubi$haft Divi$$$ion reskin of l4d.
