  1. Being a balance druid for a very very long time, No matter wat other classes I "main" I always level cap a boomy.

Starting with bringing back eclipse as a mechanic. It's a good thing. Making all of our damage spread over time should feel more rewarding when you do ramp up to those big crit surge nukes. I think the idea is there and it just needs to feel good during eclipse so you never want to be outside of one.

Looking at all the covenants nothing really sticks out as super impactful to the play style. (focusing on only the druid ones not signature). I have no beta access to test things but I'm curious just how interactive things are with other things.

Does the adaptive swarm work with stellar flare or even fury of Elune since it's damage is technically over time? Will convoke only cast spells if you're in boomy form or will you still rake in melee? Does ravenous frenzy take cast times into account when checking for the 1.5 second deactivation trigger? Less haste at the start of shadowlands might make this feel worse than it could be later. Kindred spirits is the most consistent but the most boring and bland. Just a dps cooldown.

The conduits are good with potency giving more customizable options compared to some other classes with only cookie cutter slots to use.

But overall I just don't see myself starting the upcoming expansion as the class I started this game with and have played every single expac at least to cap.

I know numbers and tuning are coming but the design of a major aspect of the class needs some help first before numbers decide anything.

  2. The ravenous Frenzy pvp thing does not count. you can still heal or do other actions as the tooltip does say 'DRUID SPELLS' also while stunned you should not have the effect ended. Checked myself.

  3. I do wish that instead of you having to cast 2 different spells you went into a stance called like astral eclipse that gave you both eclipses but if you cast like 2 of your main spells you would go into their eclipse. So 2 wraths puts you in solar, 2 starfires puts you in lunar. it feels weird to be spamming those abilities in their eclipse and then to swap you have to cast them 2 more times. I feel like it should auto swap or place you in a middle stance.

  4. It's weird seeing stuff from Wrath work its way back into the game. Soul of the Forest is just the old bonuses for the Eclipse System before it was changed every expansion for 4 expansions straight. Bringing back Swiftmend's consumption of a HoT and the re-introduction of Nourish as a talent for Resto is interesting to see. I honestly never thought I'd see these added back into the game but I'm not complaining. Druid is looking quite good from a Boomkin/Resto perspective.

  5. Thank you for this, I needed a good explanation of ALL of the changes, and you made a thorough, and easy to understand video. I love the way you split it up, so I can just skip through it for reference. Thanks again!

  6. After an afternoon of looking like a fool in later leveling and watching all I could find to explain… your explanation only 12 minutes in was as simple and affective as can be. Thank you! I'm wow noob, quit after leveling to 109 in legion (i think) when I saw a shiny new game.

  7. I feel like you could separate some of your points with a little transition to let us absorb some of what you say. Talking quickly for 15 minutes can be jarring, but maybe it's just me lol. I just mean like separating information into intuitive chunks in an intuitive order part of an intuitive whole…

  8. The PVP talk had me cracking up. A mode built around interupts stuns and trinkets to get out of those crowd controls. Nub's brain = Opt into Heart of the wild and let go of that stun for arena so you can fill in on a 5 min cooldown. You are a hybrid use it but do not lose sight of the core principals of arena. If heart of the wild does become the new ''IT'' i sincearly appologize, i dont and it probably wont. Moonkin in 3v3 will probably opt into bear form double frenzy regen and ofc overlapping armor value vs melee's so your Shaman/Shadow priest can cleave instead and you put up bleeds nd DOTS inbetween being focussed. Think S 1 BFA 3v3 world champions
