None of these numbers mean anything when most people are just using Rogues to attack enemies head on. It's the basic in-game tactics people are missing.
How stealth works, how to get sneak attacks off, use Dash all the time, etc…
a usual turn for my dwarven str rogue is to jump in sneak attack and then jump again to peace out since jumping is also disengage. it's a pretty funny image lol.
Haha I love the Shield Dwarf idea, totally gonna try it! 😀 One question though: I dont get how those sneak attacks work. I stealth, use sneak attack, but it only does a normal attack. What am I doing wrong? 🙁
Can I say I was absolutely delighted to see your guides for BG3 classes appear! Thanks for taking your time to make these. I look forward to learning more about the classes.
The only option IMO is the Wood Elf build with the skill set and extra skills at level 4 this makes the rogue build very OP and god like. I would not use int at all because you get to loot a level 18 int item in the village so there is the int increase at no cost….Booom!!!
Best gaming channel
Am a bit confused isnt this game based on D&D rules and have never heard of Wisdom benefitting a rogue.
I'll probably go Arcane trickster when full game released.
Nerd never gets so excited as when he's talking about Dwarves and Halflings!
Do you still get sneak attack damage with non finesse weapons?
You can still make use of arcane trickster spells with low int. Mirror image is a good example

If I wanted to do arcane trickster what abilities would you do for wood elf / half wood elf?

In his defense, when WoW launched I rolled a Dwarf Rogue and went on to eventually beat the game in 122 months.
You get a head piece that grants 18 int early enough in the game. So I tend to dump int.
this game is fun as fuck!
another great job, ty!
16 min video 20 ads otherwise good tho 🙂
Am I gimping myself by going Tiefling? Also, best weapons for dual-wielding? Whichever available with the highest stats?
Arcane Trickster still gets some useful stuff, Friends, Charm Person, True Strike and more are on the way.
Strength Rogue will get even more crazy if they add Grapple, Trip and/or Disarm.. and don't fix Sneak Attack from proccing off Strength-based attacks.

Isn't strength important for the rogue's damage output?
Can you make a Human rogue, sub class trickster?
