Believe me, the enemy does use pushing against you. I was taking on a bunch of Gnolls, & moved a couple of my characters up onto a ridge to gain a height advantage…..they both got pushed off the ridge by Gnolls.
Just FYI, going back to camp in order to sleep advances the plot along by a full night. Given that you've got a time limit to deal with your tadpole, its probably not a good idea to abuse the camp mechanic.
Being able to rest near an enemy sounds like a bug to me…..as I wasn't allowed to do it under similar circumstances.
I look at this title on Steam and it's mostly cut scenes and makes you think it's a totally different type of game. The graphics may be decent but it's VERY deceptive. A point and click isometric view but they make you think it's like this awesome 1st person/3rd person view game more like skyrim. Glad I came to youtube to see ACTUAL gameplay. SAD!

im going to miss the RTwP system BioWare used/pioneered with this series and i think this kills the pacing and imperative feeling of the unpaused combat vs the relaxed 0 threat of losing turn based combat. maybe im just too good at turn based rpgs at this point….but i doubt that.

You should try the Shadowrun games. They're a bit lighter as RPGs with great story telling
Play pen and paper RPG. Itll blow coded games out if the water. Its the true open world.
Until they add half orc and barbarian they can pretty much forget me buying their game
Getting bored of industry just kicking out early access titles and unpolished releases. I really look forward to something just releasing in a good state and hearing positive things about it. Or is that no longer a thing 🙁

You can have druids attack the tiefling ppl or vis versa.
Then goblin attack or find the thieves guild you can have the ppl u help beat by their own ppl and interrogated.. Countless things to do.
honestly tho, Baldurs gate 1&2 are the opposite of having excessive items. Most things have a point to exist.

Baldur's Gate III is almost a CTRL+C CTRL+V from Divinity OS 2.
