  1. Running a Rtx 2070, ryzen 3600x,
16gb ram, with fully updated drivers and I’m hanging around 60-70fps. This seems incredibly low compared to what some of you are getting with similar builds. Can’t figure out the problem for the life of me. Any ideas?

  2. To be honest this helps a lot. But the game looks awful, lol. I am running on an ideapad s145 laptop. With dx11 and tuning down the graphics is playable. Even though is below minimum requirements.

  3. This video is pure witchcraft, the game was basicly unplayable for me and now it plays soo smooth, I just change to directx 11 and the audio option, I am playing with all the high settings and the game looks and plays amazing. Thank you kind sir.

  4. I have a 3080 GPU yet still only get like 30-40 FPS on max settings. This game is horribly optimized for the time being but expect improvements (especially when the new driver updates come out for the game.)

  5. I saw the title for this and watched it to be sure before commenting. Yep, it is exactly like every other "get more fps for __ game" video out there. Turn down the output to medium or low, turn off vertical sync, turn off shadows and other effects (lighting, effects, reflections, etc.), turn down anti-aliasing, etc.
Long story short, turn everything down and make your game look like total shit just so it will run smoothly. That makes about as much sense as getting a Ferrari but only driving it 35 MPH and never driving on the freeway.

  6. I cannot for the love of my get this game to run at anything above 80 fps without moving the camera.
i7 7700k @4.8GHz, 32GB RAM, GTX 1080 ti OC'd to 2100MHz, everything custom water cooled, never running above 50C, but even if I lower the graphics to 720p and set everything to the lowest setting, I can barely get above 80.

I really hope they'll optimize the game atleast somewhat, since it's super fun so far.

  7. On the launch page, I don’t have a settings gear beside the launch button to select between Vulcan and direct x 11. I’m on a MacBook Pro. When I launch the game, it crashes in the middle of the first load screen. I’ve already verified files and made sure the drivers were updated. Can anyone help me out??

  8. Nice guide on FPS settings, I am running a prehistoric potato for a PC and BG3 still insists it can run at ULTRA settings ??? which would be fine, normally, until every cutscene takes minutes to load
