  1. Quite frankly as good as they have been they are now demonstrating negligence by not at the very least getting a loan deal to cover at the back… playing midfielders constantly at the back is pure folly. It's a shame to lose the momentum built up over the last 3-4 yrs.. it will go down as a missed step if Liverpool do not retain the PL crown.. that's on FSG clearly when Gomez was ruled out.. Liverpool were in need of an emergency solution asap… Sad times….. But support who ever plays 💯💪 ynwa

  2. Come on. We’re in the middle of a bloody global pandemic and there is no money. Fans need a dose of reality. There will be no fans in the stadium this year. There may not be fans in the stadium next season. TV revenue is down. Commercial will be down. Do you want FSG to put the club in debt to fund a signing, when there is no guarantee of revenues stabilising. Piss poor. Maybe try and have a balanced conversation about this instead of just moaning?

  3. Surely there is money there for FSG to give to Klopp to buy a CB, yes we are in uncertain times and have bought new training ground etc but even someone on a free or a loan would be good then we would only have to pay the players wages

  4. The reluctance to spendoney on players needed will cost lpool the league and champions league, this season, and out of the cup there trying to win things on the cheap n it won't happen!!

  6. Not getting a centre back is having more of an effect on the whole team than people realise an if matip gets injuried then its not looking good they could play good like against utd score goals but lose, I think teams will gain confidence that they can get at us.

  7. I've been listening to this podcast for a few years and this is one of the best episodes there's been. Usually they sound like they don't want to be there and give an answer and move on but here they're interjecting all the time about the centre back problem cos they've got so much to say

  8. i like the content ur putting out its a hard 1 when talking about fsg and transfers and the fact origi wont leave turning down offers i dont care about other clubs we should be concentrating on our own woes i dont think klopp will buy anyone other than the player for the academy i was so happy salah scored he has delivered since 2017 the abuse he gets is dreadful 113 in 178 games mane and firmino no where near that and they have been at the club longer so i think klopp should play alisson trent phillips if matip isnt gonna start with rhys on the bench and robbo with hendo thiago gini if hendo isnt fit then jones with mane firmino salah im going for a 2-1 win lfc bench being keheller neco rhys ox origi matip clarkson

  9. We should never have taken a calculated risk on Fabinho being 4th choice last summer. That was a terrible mistake that.
We should have replaced Lovren when we had the chance.
Nobody could’ve predicted the injuries we got and that’s fair enough, but still if your 4th choice centre back goes you have to buy a centre back. Not play a midfielder at centre back?
I can’t get my head around that it was a stupid idea.
I also get what Gorst says about FSG not wanting to spend if they’re not bringing in match revenue, but you can’t forget about what Liverpool have achieved over the last 3 years.
We’ve made record profits from winning the two biggest trophies in England, aswell as huge sponsorship deals.
Something doesn’t add up and for the champions of England this is piss poor.
Where’s the ambition gone? You don’t just throw a season away after winning the title. You act fast and try to retain the title. That should be the mentality!
    Absolute madness.

  10. We have got a huge unit in Grucic at Porto bring him back and put him in at centreback he is very experienced at top level in Germany and in Portugal we own him! Taiwo Awonyi could be a great plan B for us as a big unit with great heading ability so I dont know what the situation is with both players.

  11. We will not hit stride this season. It was the height of arrogance to think we could compete in this league with one ‘proven-to-be-fit-consistently’ center back. We’re paying for it now and are in free fall I predict we will finish this season in the lower half of the table because of this. That might be a negative call but I’m being realistic. That being said have a good run at the league next year can’t wait to see fans back in the stadium and champions league not that important because we rarely sign proven talent.

  12. Does anyone remember our Gillet & Hicks owners and where this club was heading with them I charge? You lot sound, including commenters, like a bunch of spoilt brats. FSG came in and cleared debts. They fought in court to take the club! Right now with this bollox pandemic it's ruining things and purposfully done in my opnion (but that's another topic for discussion) we haven't had fans in for a year almost. That's a huge loss financially. FSG have invested in the community and stadium and just spent on new training facilities…

Liverpool have been very unlucky with injuries the VVD injury for example further to that Gomez out. Matips always been injury prone but how likely is it that 2 of your key CBs are out long term?

The amount of games they play scattered all over the shop due to TV rights has caused the issue condensing seasons etc not training correctly etc it's been a freak year. We've done great until sat couple weeks, that happens in football. Let's get behind the team eh? Realistically to bring in someone this January was never going to be easy. Clubs know Liverpool's situation and they'd be paying way over the price for a defender. Nat Williams has looked decent but doesn't seem to play, I'm not sure why tbh. Everytime he's played he's been solid. Good winner of headers, reads game well etc.
