Wait I thought you were referring to the ghostblade which is an actual item in the game. I forget where I found it at.
I'd say you win this because you aren't doing any damage with healing spells, so healing didn't kill the enemies faster it just kept you alive long enough to kill them which is perfectly acceptable.
ok one thing. the whole being ignorant of things is funny the first few times you have done it in your videos but tbh its just annoying at this point. its just super forced sarcasm and its not funny anymore. its like telling the same joke to your friend 100 times and expecting them to give a genuine laugh and not a for fuck sakes again with this shit laugh. also the simple fact of mixing jokes up 1 makes you practice being funny and 2 doesnt make your videos a copy of the last one you did. your a good youtuber. love your content. but mix things up more and stop with the overused sarcasm.
I think you won since casting healing did no damage to the enemy, otherwise I'd have said that it was a loss
the phantom sword is only 2
How tf do you even get views?
I came for the thumbnails… Stayed for the content, and the thumbnails
9:42 "and the we fi- SEAT AT THE DAMN TABLE", like everyone who has ever done this quest EVER.
Oh, ffs, using healing is ok as long as the healing is not killing crud… Consider the following: a challenge is to kill stuff in some very specific way, EVEN pacifist for that matter. Is healing yourself killing stuff? NO. Then why on Earth would it void the challenge? Because you died less? Dying less does not void the challenge, it just saves you time so you can do more stuff that we appreciate you doing. So, please, no whining about healing, ok? Healing, blocking or anything that does not deal damage is fair game, although, you are forbidden from putting perk point into said stuff, that does void the challenge.
healing is ok sice you only did dammage with the phantom sword
I thought you were talking about the ghost sword you can see through I don't remember where to find it but I think in the dragonborn dlc
I'm a new viewer, can someone tell me why they put anime girls in all their thumbnails?
The core of the challenge is only doing damage with the phantom sword, so honestly healing should be just fine since its not damaging anything or anyone.
I would say it was a fail, but still cool to watch
You should do only daedric artifact run. Where you use only daedric artifact. For an example the dawnbreaker.
i think using spells in a challenge is okay or if its a spell based challenge then potions for sure. its a base mechanic in the game and i dont see much wrong with keeping yourself alive.
YEEESSS, finaly another questline!
What would you do-oo-oo for a Kodlak Doggo?
Healing items and spells are 100% valid.
As long as you didn't damage anything by other means it is cool.
You used only the phantom sword to do damage, the healing spells are just another game mechanic to be used in my opinion, not something to fail the challenge
Just wear exploited armour to give 10000% health regeneration totally fine as it's not modded in
TIL there is a back exit out of Ysgramor's Tomb
This was enjoyable to watch so in general and has nothing wrong with it
so what If you yoused a healing spell, no one got hurt by it so no harm done
> struggles to kill one of the hagraven sisters
Random YouTube comment: "You're not done with the Companions! Like, you didnt cure the other people!,"
I thought he ment the conjure sword or the actual phantom wepons
I have a split oppinion about healing spells. I did a run of skyrim without any magic, including enchanted items and spell scrolls. and it was fun.
do i think it kinda defeats the point of the challenge. on the other hand, you could just grind for a level up to get a heal for there, or have a bunch of healing potions with you. wich kinda does the same thing. both do produce the same outcome, so i dont really care.
Healing is cheating imo, but otherwise the challenge couldn't be completed.
Using healing isn't that different from using food or potions.
Seems fine to me.
… Wow. Didn't expect the one thing that would've saved your prior "Can You Beat Skyrim as a Werewolf" run to actually appear and kill this one.
Oh i love bethesda. What should we do if we have a cutscene where the player needs empty hands? Make their weapon invisible? Temporarily unequip it? Teleport it behind the camera? Nope, fake sword.
Your own rules said no healing. So by that metric it was a failure. Some would allow use of poison, healing or companion on such a run, but the important part is the rules do not change underway. That said, as entertainment it was a success😀
I think the approach of "only use healing spells if you can't beat it otherwise" is a decent compromise. There is no entertainment if you end the video 3 minutes in.
There are always more strict and less strict definitions of a challenge run. For example, leveling up there may be considered a violation already. I would say: go for what is necessary and give a "yes, but we healed in combat" in the end.
I'd say using spells to heal is more ok than using potions to heal, honestly. It takes time, and it's very much not a brute force auto-win. As long as the challenge isn't literally "do x without healing", I'd say it's ok.
I believe that they are fine
I thought he meant one of the ghost swords. I forgot what they're called exactly but you know what I'm talking about.
It doesn't say "no heal magic, phantom blade only challenge" so I'll allow it.
The way I see it healing spell break the spirit of the run as apposed to the rules.
I'm I the only one that refers Farkas as "fart gas" ? 🤔
I'm gonna call it as fine! If it's a 'sword only challenge' then armour shouldn't be allowed. So yeah, it's all good!
I love your thumbnails.. how do you do it, man? 😆
This was super cool! Really different idea! Loved it!
For the love of God give me your thumbnail sauce (lmao I'm joking)
Or am I…
I say you won because you tried until you had no other options. If you just heal your way though everything that’s basically a normal run with a build in mind, using healing as a last resort is fine imo
