I have to say, yes they get a shred of credit for apologizing but I am very concerned how little push back they are getting for the lies.

  1. They are getting so little pushback on the lies because usually they did very well. Sort of the reputation Bethesda had before they decided to become cookie cutter corporate. The problem is that they may have little choice. The bullshit financial system of lies and ghost money may force them to behave in the way they do. So they eventually are forced to hire psychopaths who can lie and distort without conscience and thats where we currently are.

  2. I'd like to give CDPR benefit of the doubt, and think they only allowed PC reviews, operating under the hope and assumption that the base console games would be ironed out by release, and everything would be okay. The other side of the coin however, is that it's hard to give any studio the benefit of the doubt at this point, regardless of having a good reputation previously.

  3. Can you please stop defending CD project like a white knight. This is what happens when nobody gets gameplay from the PS4 and Xbox for reviews, CD Project knew those versions were bad, they only send gameplay from the Pc for the reviews. It was a scam all along, they wanted to get the invested money fast as possible. Why they did that? well almost nobody has the Xbox series, PS5 or a good PC, they knew they can get a big sell on the old consoles, that's why they never show the state of those versions. PS4 and Xbox one will never be good, probably an improvement of framerates and lower bugs, everything will stay, specially the graphics.

  4. I played it and i had a lot of fun, even finished it.
I had bugs on PC but nothing game breaking. Loaded another save file and the bugs were gone. The Witcher 3 had a lot of bugs aswell at release and i still played it and loved it. No regrets.

  5. I don't read the message the same as he does. I am reading it that after they released the game they realized just how bad the last gen looks. And are just apologizing for the oversight, just like the oversight about not including video of last gen. They are going to patch it up to the max, then if you still don't like this just get your money back. Mostly I think Covid is to blame because the game is ambitious and Covid did prevent reviews from thoroughly being done. These issues probably would not have happened in any year that had no pandemic.

  6. I have this game on PC. It's a great game and i am having a blast. I have noticed a cupple of bugs but nothing gamebreaking.Sad to hear that it is not working out for everyone. Dont know how bad it is for the peasants but why would you want to play this on console anyway? FPS's are made for pc. CDPR is a good company but this put a dent in their armor. Anyway off to play more cyberpunk 🙂

  7. I still want to know where they admit they deceived us. You even say it yourself "What appears." So they themselves never said they deceived us, that is what you're taking from the message? Okay, say that. Otherwise, this is fake news.

Them saying "Hey we're sorry we didn't show last gen console footage, we realized we should have put more focus onto making it run better on the Xbone and PS4."

    That IS NOT them saying

"Hey guys we purposely with held videos and information on how bad it run. We knew it was going to be trashed, lied about it, and released it anyways."

That's are not the same thing my man. Either read it verbatim and tell us this is your opinion, or just stop reporting on it. Either way, you're sticking words into their (metaphoric) mouths when you say they admit to deceiving us. THEY DIDN'T EVER SAY THAT. YOU DID.

Honestly, I thought you were better than a liberal reporter man. You're making wild speculations, contorting what is being said, and running with it like it's fact. That's liberal media 101 dude. Stop it, please keep your integrity.

Look I am just holding you accountable like I would anyone else. I did not appreciate when CNN took Donald Trump saying "There are good people on both sides." And says "See he admits he is racist."

I also don't appreciate you taking them saying "Hey sorry we didn't polish it as well as we could have." and saying "See they admit they lied and with held things from us to deceive us." No, no they didn't. If you want to come to that conclusion, that's fine, but make sure you admit it's your conclusion. Stop saying they said it. They didn't.

  9. I do genuinely accept there apology. My question is though since " 10 or so extra days may not seem like they can make a big difference but they can" what was it like at that point? I too love CD project red, But I don't support that kind of business practice on any level. I got my refund yesterday and looking forward I might not even buy their next game when it comes out. They've lost me. For a while at least.

  10. thing is they will never finish it, on consoles it will always look like shit, cos consoles are like midrange laptops not a gaming pc. bigger question is why they said first game is gold before another delay in november

  11. Today Cyberpunk taught us that a game can be both needlessly delayed and unfinished at the same time. I would say the ideal would have been to release the PC version back in November when it was ready, but they held it back to release on consoles at the same time; and hold the Console release back until February, when it looks like the Console version will be in a playable state.

  12. My opinion is it should never have been released for old gen consoles. The game at it's base requires too much resources to run and yes I understand the outrage but they have been tailoring this game around next gen the whole time. This was to be expected. Much like one should never go out and buy the next generation of consoles right out the gate because those are horribly bad and the majority of them have Major flaws that can cause catastrophic failure in the console. Though I don't condone shady behavior and marketing, my opinion is someone or a group of people lied to the company so they could push it out. I don't believe the company as a whole knew of this. Unfortunately, as a company they are all liable and as such they did go farther then any he company to apologize for this and even openly offered refunds. I have been alive a long time and a gamer from r most of that time and have never seen a company offer refunds for their products if it didn't meet the bar of expectations. I just hope they continue to do right by their fans and don't turn into one of the many other game companies that just expect their fan base to buy their junk just because of their name. Just my opinion.

  13. I can't wait until youtube creators stop bitching about Cyberpunk not having a perfect launch, and start talking about the actual fucking game. We get it, the game crashes and has a few bugs, but can we move onto the beautiful world and character building, the fun combat, the ridiculously complex and oh so fulfilling skill tree, the thrilling missions, and whether you love or hate the infamous terrorist rocker Johny Silverhands.

  14. The only problem I have noticed is random crashes…but from fallout 3 I learned to save all the time!! I'm on PS4..the fat version and not the pro version. The fact is this…no console will ever run like a PC! If you're crying it's not running good on PS4 and soon on PS5 then get a PC!! Consoles are a scam lol I'm ok with casual gaming but you "gamers" need to face reality. Reality is you need to get a gaming PC to run a game that takes 3 hours to load on your weak console then have an hour upload lol

  15. Personally, I’m torn with Cyberpunk. I play on the base ps4. The story is amazing. In my own experience I have witnessed few bugs outside of npc’s spawning and textures not loading. Those are the pluses (if you can it that). The part where I am disappointed beyond all is the graphical quality. Rockstar made both GTA V and RDR2 look gorgeous on base. Modern warfare, a game twice the size, looks crisp and clean even in Warzone. There is no reason for Cyberpunk to look as unforgivable as it does, and I am far more than disappointed.

  16. Apologies are appreciated but are they sincere about refunds?
Money, money, money is all about games these days. Enough of releasing bug ridden games. Its lazy and pathetic, but yay to those profiting off this crap.

  17. I don't think all of the blame could (or should) be shifted onto CDPR (at least not the people who actually made the game. The higher-ups however… yes.) I think the third-party QA team that was supposed to catch this and say "Are you serious?! You can't release this, in its current state." So it's really a combination of faults here
