What’s up guys and gals, I’m Kage848. I love to make videos for Youtube, mostly early access survival games like 7 Days to Die, Empyrion, Raft, Mist Survival, The Forest, and more! I also dabble in City Builders and strategy games like Civilization 5, Civilization 6, Dawn of Man, Stonehearth, Factorio and Rim World. I do at least two videos everyday of mainly tutorials, let’s plays and general gameplay footage. Thanks for watching my videos.

This Early Access game is not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development.

  1. Best money per kg is broadleaf plantains and saint john's wort, takes no input money and can make 1000s in. A few mins. Mass farming flax is also really good but takes awhile to make costless.

  2. "the big game" quest is going to be impossible for me. Im playing on 10 times every thing. I got the idea from that guy haha. Everything one shots you and boars takes more than 15 spears to kill idk how many tho, he killed me 🤣

  3. I go to the mine and get as much iron as I can and pile all the stones and salt outside of it so when I come back I bring as much sticks as I can carry then craft lots of stone knives then sell them for huge money and take the salt back, it is 2 trips to the mine but usually one of the 3 towns usually has a quest and all of the towns has people to talk into coming to your town or flirt with to become your wife, also one head shot with a bow and arrow downs a boar, wolf and deer, three head shots downs a bear but not sure about wiscent they got thick heads

  4. Or, you could do what you did in season 1 & put a storage out at "unstuck" that way it is central whenever you need it. No matter where you are in the map if you need storage quickly you can teleport there and drop the items in, then finish the run home. Great for when you need to do a massive mining haul but don't want to wait until the last night of the season. 🙂

  5. Also know that when adding female and male villagers in house together they will have babies and the mother does not work for 3 seasons. I added villagers all at same time, all became mothers and lost them as workers. They will stop working and you have to do thier assigned jobs….don't make this mistake

  6. Hey Kage, loving this season so far. Making roads to nearby villages is a great idea. Also, one tip – you dont pay taxes on fields, ever. Taxes are only paid on buildings. That also means there is really no reason not to make the field as big as your workers can manage, especially in the beginning when making money is crucial for unlocking technologies, buying the pickaxe and a good backpack. Best moneymaker is flax, especially if you build a sowing building and turn it into linen thread and then linen fabric. And thrashing the flax gives you insane amount of crafting tech – but only if you do it yourself, NPCs thrashing increases farming for some reason. Also try buying the longbow, it costs about as much as the pickaxe, does more damage than the normal bow and is extremely accurate. But stone arrows dont do much damage, especially with 1.5x animal HP, so hunting will be a bit of pain until you can get iron arrows.

  7. Thanks for the video!
Tips for the wolves: there seems to be a bug currently. I was struggling to find 3 of them, so I notice that if you save you game after killing one wolf (before taking the meat out of it) and re-load, a wolf will be near by almost every time (and the dead body is gone). I guess the system regenerate a living wolf instead of a dead one when reloading.

  8. I spent part of a day picking berries to buy a tier 2 pouch and then a backpack (not the small ones, there are 3 sizes of each), totally worth it early game for a 21 kilo increase in carry weight since the tech is sewing II.
I think any seamstress will sell those, got mine from Branica but they can be had in Denica as well.

  9. You should build resource storage at your cave, you can just destroy it once you get a mine.
You are going to need the stone you get from mining iron when you build stone houses, then you won't need an excavation shed.
I always do my mining at the north cave because i can build storage close to the entrance but i always build my town across the lake from where you are, on the lake next to the creek.

  10. I don't think the kids are that bad, the worst way it's impacted me is that the mothers stop working for a year or so after their kid is born, but after that it's not that big of a deal. Oh and i think a good way to make the kids actually useful is by having them age 2 or 4 years every game year. It might be a bit weird at firs, but i'm 40 hours into my current game and their at most 3 years old now which is just way too slow if i ever want to make use of them before i run out of stuff to do in this game.

  11. better off romancing village women, they tend to have better skills than the ones you can recruit around the fires. I had three going and choose the one with the best skills (got one with a crafting of 5)

  12. For money I am dedicating a whole field for cabbage (can be planted twice a year) and make as many pottage as I can (around 400 per year). Meat is easy to get as my 2 hunters are producing 9 per hour which is plenty. Easy money – 14 per piece. I am still on my third year. Probably later on arrows will be a better choice for money making.
In addition you get plenty of crafting skills making that pottage.

  13. So many people leave out the "I think" part of "I think you can…" that I have learned to appreciate those two words even when they turn out to be wrong. At least those who say it are being more honest and giving me more context to make a decision on.
