  1. Well said Joker! I just started playing it (Cyberpunk). I'm about 20 hours into it. Really love the graphics and the story. This game needs a crap ton of work. Feels like its still stuck between alpha and beta.

  2. Hey Joker, I made a Witcher 3 graphics mod that brings settings to Magical — a step above vanilla Ultra. You an SloppyWetBlow got me into graphics settings and game performance like 6 or 7 years ago and so this mod is pretty much inspired by the both of you. Would be honored for you to check it out. "Magical Graphics Settings – Beyond Ultra" on Nexus.

  3. I have personally noticed better performance on my GTX 1060 6GB…I use the Kabuki Market as the benchmark after each update and I am personally getting an extra 5-7fps after patch 1.1, before I would need to use the AMD Fidelity FX to render at 90% resolution to maintain a steady framerate, but now I can play without any resolution scaling…

  4. Mods will pacify people long enough for them to fix the game or get a modder to do it free for them. Its a win win. I want that shader mod that gives its borderlands feel, but will wait until its ironed out a bit more.

  5. I play this garbage on R7 1800X + Gtx 1080Ti + SSD PCIex 4X + 32GB RAM (1080p all maxed out, 52-80 fps) and this new patch gave me the amazing experience of: cars being stuck half into the ground (in trafic), cars being suspended in the air, enemies stop shooting in a fight (just staring at you), my weapons being jammed (double-barrel tech shotgun, Dying Night pistol won't shoot) and you need to reload last save to be able to use them, cars exploding out of nowhere or flying after an impact, enemies detecting you through walls without being attacked and launching game "combat" mode (cool when you are playing a stealth mission, no?), walls disappearing in buildings, floors and ceilings in some areas (G.I.M. in Pacifica), fixers staring at you without speaking their lines (all of them except Mr. Hands), sound being delayed in conversations while character's lips don't move, unable to scroll through questions or answers in conversations (again save and reload to fix the problem),etc…this game is so trash, the year in the game is not even 2077: the year on the phones in the game is 2071. There is a bug where some phones float in the air for a few seconds after the npc's talk and you can go and zoom in on their screens…the date in the corner is 03.05.2071.
    Here's the proof https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_-ohm3v44Q ,
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mIfCqt32yOA .
The pistol you get from Wilson, "V! Your sweet little forty-five's waitin' for it's daddy! Purrs after every shot now!", is actually a 9 mm auto pistol DYING NIGHT not 45 caliber: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dzydX-lxiQY . So stupid! They glued together some parts from the old game/story, cut 60% of the original story/gameplay and voila: this shit-show called "Cybertrash all the garbage until 2077".
I still play this mediocrity because of some mods (nude patch and some character and clothing mods).
PS: The message when you are at the border of NC and want to leave is "Leaving NIGTH City" … N I G T H… from a mega-giga AAA game, future of all RPG games. Pathetic! Here at min. 1:11 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k__JqcPgCQk .

  6. Think I will give the driver a miss, still on 460.89 as the last hotfix and official before it was causing lag in apps like Affinity photo, Davinci Resolve, Cubase 11 and more…

  7. Yep I installed this game on PC on release and got about an hour into it when I exited and haven't played it since…Like you Joker I will play it when they fix it.. The should NEVER have released this game when they did!

  8. I sometimes feel bad for individuals at a game company that have to deal with pressure from all sides – Bloomberg hit pieces, constant bad press, Sony pulling their game off the store, gamers being demanding, investors filing lawsuits, the game still having major issues, etc., but as Jackie Welles said "…they had it coming."

  9. I'll be playing the Medium on PC with Game Pass and won't have to pay full price. Gotta go get the latest drivers. By the way Joker, the Medium is kinda the successor to Silent Hill games in a way and if you play any Silent Hill games, chances are you'll enjoy the Medium

  10. I gave Cyberpunk 2077 a 8/10 in my review of the game in its current state. I think it's great as it is, but the fixes, update and future DLC could take the game from an 8 to a 9 or 10/10.
