  1. I didn't appreciate Gamespot's 7/10 because it just felt like the reviewer didn't bother playing the game much. But this review points out the real issues, beyond the obvious bugs that will get patched. Well done EZA, as always.

  2. I had a weird suspicion that Cyberpunk would have a Fallout 76 / No Mans Sky launch experience. My fears felt confirmed once they announced that there was a 40gb day 1 patch. Now I see that my fears are confirmed, though not to the full extent they should be. I chose not to buy the game (due to the launch buy fear so I decided to wait until a couple of patches are rolled out) and to buy RDR2 instead. Though I can really see that a lot of effort was put into this vast world and I am excited to play it once the issues get fixed up.

My view on the game from this review is that unfortunately RPGs are like other RPGs, they maintain a lot of the same aspects and not that much changes between them, but I do believe this game is phenomenal in it's own way. See you guys next year when this game wins all the game awards at The Game Awards. (Though maybe people will be less trigger happy to jump on the rigged bandwagon compared to TLOU2)

  3. I was hopeful that Ben would dive a bit more into the theme of Cyberpunks world and overall message, as those are what really kept the game from falling apart. Guess I'll just wait for Joe's review.

  4. I've been following Easy Allies from the beginning, and before them I regularly watched the latest reviews on Gametrailers dot com from as far back as at least 2004. I say all that because at 7:14, I believe that is the first time I've ever heard Brandon Jones swear as part of a review.

  5. I'd really like to see a discussion by EZA on the console versions, as someone that is struggling playing through the PS4 version of the game it's astounding that something like this "unknowingly" went by their devs and higher ups.

  6. Such a huge shame; when they announced yet another delay this year I thought to myself "just delay it till next year and release early if you're twiddling your thumbs", it's better to give fans what they were promised a bit late than it is to give them something buggy as all hell too soon. I'm curious whether EZA might do a mini re-review in a few months once more of the issues have been fixed? I probably won't be playing until the end of January myself anyway as I'll be playing on PC and need to upgrade first.

  7. Remember when people were sending hate and death threats to the reviewer at Gamespot for giving it a 7, but people here are praising a 7.5. Good job on making great reviews Easy Allies, and good job to the Easy Allies community about being mature about it.

  8. Good review. This game achieves great things but i would remove another 0,5 from the score. Playing this game i felt like a lot of mechanics had to be reworked like the looting, crafting, wanted system, ai, melee combat, the way quests are given to you, the way you buy cars, etc.

  9. I actually felt worry about this game seeing all the hype like a year or two ago and while I did have an interest in this game it wasn’t high on my priority list now I don’t know what to think except maybe it could use a pocket edition like FFXV?
