Hey guys. How’s it going? So, big news over the weekend, Cyberpunk 2077 seems to have gone from being the great dream of CD Projekt Red to being their biggest nightmare. Just when you thought that things couldn’t be worse for the Polish company, now it seems that they could go to court for incurring “falsehood to obtain economic benefits”.

So, how do you think this will all end? Is the world going too crazy? Do they really deserve to be taken to court for being overly optimistic in their marketing? Tell us what you think in the comments, we want to know.

Thank you very much for watching and have a great day… bye.

  1. All my hype was shot in the face the moment I saw every type of glitch and crash in the game. Despite the fact they said the game "runs surprisingly well" on current generation systems. Liars.

  2. I honestly think this may actually be the nail in to coffin for CD Projekt Red because honestly who's gonna play the next Witcher out of fear of giving how Cyberpunk is going which may lead to them having to close their doors

  3. They should have released the pc version and delayed the console versions and should have been frank and straight with the info that console versions were not up to par

  4. When they announced that there were going to be delays, I was one of the few people that said this was a good thing. I do not mind delays if the final product is amazing. Seeing a game get released before all the bugs gets worked out can be a disaster, see Mass Effect Andromeda. The devs will fix the bugs, give them time, and in the end chances are people will enjoy the final product.

  5. This might be a warning shot for the current dev cycles for nearly all AAA games, releasing unfinished and patching as they go seems to be the status quo these days. However I will note that given people within the company got death threats when they delayed the game, they were in a no-win situation as well. It looks to me that management said "we can't delay anymore, ship what we have", and we're seeing the blowback from it. I don't know a lawsuit is appropriate, but CDPR should be getting all the criticism it has earned for sure. It's also a reminder of something simple: PC will always outstrip the consoles. We need to stop expecting them to be equal products, because they CANNOT be equal products.

  6. I understand that people are angry and/or upset, but taking this to the courts won't help anyone. If anything, it would only make things worse, since that would mean less time and money will be spent on actually fixing the game.

  8. Ah yes the classic investors. Force the game to release when it's not ready and then try and destroy it when it releases in an unfinished state. This is why we don't have nice games anymore it's all about numbers and not about the players having fun

  9. You had to be a complete idiot to expect an old console to run this in any acceptable manner. Shame on CDPR for blatantly lying that it would, but any sane person seeing the title and previews on PC – how in the fuck did you come anywhere near the conclusion that it would even remotely look anything like what you saw?

  10. Ive been so Huped for this game. (I have not played it… Yet) But I have seen the gamplay on YT from people playing on PC, XSX and X1. Yes it was very bad on X1 and Personally i think CDPR should have released it on the last gen consoles due to the graphics and needed processer speeds. and Kept it for the New gen and PC.

  11. These creators need to realize that people want FINISHED GAMES, not broken games with the promise of fixes later. If people are going to spend a lot of money on your product, the least you could do is make sure the product works. Otherwise, the consumers will simply not buy your products in the future.

  12. If the higher ups hadn’t forced it out, none of this would have happened. The developers don’t deserve all this hate. I’m genuinely scared CDPR might close it’s doors for good after this.

  13. On another note. GOG announced they're not putting a taiwanese indie horror game Devotion in their platform. After being told off by the Chinese government and natizens. Or what GOG call "gamers". Kneeling to censorship. GOG is part of the company CD project. With CD project red their game dev division. The company is pissing all kinds of people off.

  14. I'm a big fan of CD Projekt Red. The Witcher games are a lot of fun. That said, I kind of hope this lawsuit goes through so a precedent can be set to force developers to finish their damn games before they release them.

  15. what did they expect. it should have only been released on the PC. It was a PC game that they tried making for console. Imagine if they focused on PC only. game would have been done earlier with no bugs

  16. I'm still upset that we can't do something as basic as changing the hair and facial hair. It's ridiculous. Games like GTA San Andreas you were able to…and that was one PS2!!!! CMON! Have we not grown? I don't mean to compare the games simply because they are both open world games, but, dang man….how are you gonna hype us up to forget such little details like that, that make gamers happy?

  17. Delays the game… everyone gets the shits…
Rushes release… gets sued, because everyone gets the shits…

Fucking humans are useless… give them time to fix the issues, or shut the fuck up and wait.

  18. You know I felt bad for you ps4 folks at first. I did not think it was fair that they mislead you. Now though after all the whining I just don't give a damn. Bravo CDPR for making a great game! You have my full support. I will happily be buying all the upcoming DLC and preorder your next project also.

  19. I hate everyone hating on cyberpunk they told us the game is not finished so people stop saying it sucks it's basically a beta that you are playing because when you want a good awesome game but you rush the release date then blame you self not the makers of the game

  20. The delays alone were indicative that development was not going to finish.
A program that is not even feature complete much less optimized for its primary platform can not be reasonably ve expected to run smoothly on an 8 year old machine, much less do so with the same performance it does on a contemporary one.
    Was there false advertising?
    No.
Was the hype built irrssponsible for the state of the game?
    Yes.
Cyberpunk needed some more months of polish and optimization.
But it was already indev for 8 years! I hear you say.
Correct. How many times was it completely remade from the ground up in that time, do you think?
Clearly enough that its current and final iteration was not yet in a state expected of a finished product.

  21. As a pc player i see that game has tons of bugs. Amd the mooost annoying one for me is the tree glitch that you see trees behind walls… It's just kills the moment for me. Game is clearly unfinished. The moment you play you understand it better. There needs to some major bug fixes needs to be done and also some minor ones too. Imo hype was the main thing that slaughtered the game for me. I was expecting something like a withcher 3 like game but i will pass for now when the bugs are fixed i ll definetly play.

When it comes to the visuals are not top notch but with less tirangles used on objects you could have gotten better graphs too and that reason the game is so demanding and also full of objects, assets, fogs lighting etc. in a map.
