I don't know about other games/engines, but Epic made a big deal with developers that ray traced shadows is actually FASTER than rasterization and they look better too. Reflections will give you a hit and global illumination is what will murder the game.
Look at our graphics card it came down about 3 degrees. Next shot shows it at 85c which is around 3 degrees HIGHER than it was at the start.

as someone with a 1080ti, the new driver made my gpu entirely useless making it unable to boost in any game properly.. sitting at around 18fps where I'd usually get 200
Had to roll back which meant MAJOR graphical glitches in cyberpunk
So you can't win unless you're in the states.. that's a shame.
If you want a proper increase in performance on Cyberpunk, then you need to edit the memory_pool_budgets.csv file.
Without editing this file the game allocates the same amount of ram and Vram as on the Xbox or PS.
If you've got a low end system, changing these won't do much, on high end hardware it can make a HUGE difference!

I just don't get why you would choose to have a smaller case and sacrifice all that airflow for looks and then cram in a 3080 and 5900x. Stupid.

For some reason the Cinebench score gets quite a bit lower if you have Ryzen Master running at the same time..

im running 1440 Ultra with medium RTX and getting 60 fps on a 2070 super. Do people really think this game is hard to run?
When I updated my thunderbolt drivers for CP2077, it didn't work for me… At all actually, the machine stopped using the thunderbolt egpu all together. I had to use older graphics drivers from Microsoft… Which crashes all the time and theirs nothing I can do about it Jay. Maybe if we had more Youtubers do more content about EGPU's would be nice. (wink wink)
Great pc alot of heat which is expected with the layout but super cool my pc cannot run 2077 but I will eventually be able to once nvidias supply comes back and I can get a 3080 for less then $1200 (damn scalpers!!!!

Something must be wrong with my 5900X 3090 build. I can’t even hit these numbers 90% of the time even at 1080. I played the entire game at 4K between 50-60fps with absolutely everything turned up. Help me Jay!!!!
Maybe someone might be able to help he out. But my cpu has been overheating with minimal load. I replaced fans already because one sounded like it was breaking. Its still overheating so I'm wondering if my water cooling pump or radiator is dead. Any tips to tell if my pump is dead?
