Full disclosure here – we received Cyberpunk 2077 code significantly later than other outlets and we’ve only really just begun our examination of the game. We have a raft of PC and console analysis incoming, but please be patient with us – the stuff we want to produce will take time. This video is a ‘prologue’ of sorts, where we share our first impressions of the PC game, using b-roll footage provided by CD Projekt RED. We’ll be back soon with everything you need to know.

Hmm, did DF portend the new PD reveal with the ending music…
The simple fact that not long ago ray tracing was still a speculative pipe dream . Here we are with thoroughly implemented settings . It’s a very exciting time to see this game presented and I look forward to the upcoming refinements.
I really want to like it but it's so bad optimized even on pc. I have a RX 5700 with a ryzen 5 2600x and 16gb ram and I just get micro stuttering my fps drops from 60 to 55 and sometimes even to 40 and I'm playing on medium. You guys have a idea what I can do?
Lol ! I don’t know if the devs paid you for this review or you were sent a free copy of the game. Go to reddit if you want to see a true analysis of the state of this game. It is a complete failure on all levels, graphics, gunplay, RPG elements, character customization. Many, many people have already been issued refunds.
w8ing for full 1h review.
High res/ quality for this game requires hardware that practically does not exist… 2020 just had to give us one more kick in the balls.
So the "recommended" specs are not right then and they are fooling people?
Supposedly can run on a 1060 6GB and that's what I have yet get around 20fps with everything on Low. Biggest disappointment. Glad to see your coverage as always DF! Doing great work as always! Hope you are all doing great during this current time!
i kept hearing cpu instead of gpu?
nah Witcher 3 looks better
Adam Kovic with guns😹
God I hope someone makes a Mirror's Edge total conversion with this map.
So, crysis lost its throne
Can we sit on benches and rest to take it all in in the game?
Why does it require so much from a pc?
This isn't the prettiest game to be made. Its not even close.
simply put, this game sucks cause you can't play it without it crashing every 30 mins.
complete trash
can't wait for the optimized settings video!
My gameplay was exactly 50% in playback speed in real-life too. 🙁 sad
Consoles suck, stop crying
There is a massive amounts of pop-in though, I can't play games like that because it's crazy distracting.
Games never used to be like this.
Wow I'm running it on ultra without Ray Tracing, which is still pretty high, but this looks way better.
Imagine paying $1500 dollars for a graphic card and being unable to run 60fps…lol.
Another first person shooter? I'm out.
Do not buy it.shit
This is gonna be a challenge for my Xeon E3 1240 V2
Waiting for your optimization guide to see if it will help me at all but I think I got it the best I can with my 1070 & 7700k. Running many things @ high with the AMD resolution 85/100 1080p things look fine to me that TAA is fuzzy and needs other options though ..
I can't wait for five years from now when I'm able to almost play this game with all the settings.
deus ex is still better. cyberpunk is fun but it lacks a lot of rpg elements. not being able to interact with most objects compared to deus ex really sux as well. its still a good game but to me it still has nothing on deus ex.
Unless your PC is nuclear powered your going to have a hell of a time achieving stable frames. Hopefully patches down the line will make the game more accessible for lower end rigs.
Is there any way you can do optimized settings like you did for Death Stranding?
I am playing on an i7 4770 with a GTX 1650 16gb ram and all SSD's and with the latest drivers it's running fantastic. I've not seen too many bugs either though I'm just through the first act.
Its a fcking crash fest for me on an rtx 3070
I9900k rtx 2080ti is it good for this game?
"Very different from what we saw with witcher 3"
shows option to get haircut. we can't get haircut in Cyberpunk.
I'm excited for my grandkids being able to play this maxed out
Waiting for ps5 version and a ps5 to be in Stock.
I generally can't stand playing an FPS at anything lower than 60fps, but I might have to make an exception for this game since I'll have no idea when nvidia will restock their rtx cards. If I can get the game to look good and run at a relatively stable 30fps then I'll make do with that. Can't wait to upgrade though and play this game at a good framerate with the settings cranked up.
Guys I have an Xbox one x and a 1080p tv…will this game run 1080p 60 on the one x? Thanks
It doesn't look that great to me, it looks just like the PS5 and Series X does. Valhalla has far better graphics. Even Red Dead 2 does.
game is a mess
rtx3090 be like 10 fps on low
The problem with Cyberpunk is that graphic settings dont matter at all. Switching from ultra to low gives me on average 5 more fps, so i just play on ultra and swallon the fact that sometimes i drop to around 45 while driving. It is clearly optimization problem
51% gamers use 1080p screen
5-6% games use 2160p screen(which is decreasing)
10% gamers use 1060ti Gpu
0.5 -1 % gamers use 3090 Gpus.
so 4k rtx gaming is far from norm.
most gamers are using mid-tier hardware from 2016-2017
this weird to see developers and reviewers focusing on features that only 5-6% of gamers will actually experience.
weird how games prefer visuals over experience.
this game has this stunning visual effect.(blah blah blah.)
while on other hand animation scripting of NPC and basic animations like players movement(crouch slide , jumping) looks out of date.
games from 2015 had better physics or even movement. basic things like fighting animation is boiled down to 4-5 basic animations.
games these days prefer to work on things like shiny roads. hair physics. shiny character eyes. ooo shiny garbage even tin cans have light shafts on it.
while main things like vehicle physics of bike, cars, players & NPC are just mediocre.
Imagine if chefs reviewed food based on sweetness it had instead of focusing all tastes like spice, sour, sweet,….
Imagine if news mostly reported gossip. and pointless things that affects very small % of population,
Imagine if cars reviewers focused solely on cars speed, while car isn't even road legal. (oh wait they already do)
Nevermind
its an un-optimized piece of crap but its drm free soo eh. 🤷🏻♂️
I'm getting 45-50 fps using an RX 480 for the most part. Some sections I drop to about 38. Still, having a blast with this game.
