  2. I do not blame any of the devs or Community managers or head of comms etc, they were being told what to do from the Higher ups in management indeed. That falls on them and sadly the staff who made the game happen are taking the heat for it over social media. I for one try to bring them positivity whenever. whether it be silly funny videos, or fan films etc.

PC might be in better state than last gen and new gen consoles, but still comes with a lot of performance issues. I will continue to play the game regardless, and there will be several playthroughs following patches and when my PC gets upgraded and RTX up.

  3. So I wonder; How long was the embargo they had on you talking about this stuff when it was fresh? Several other channels I know have uploaded something about each of these topics the day of them being released. For that I have lost a big amount of trust in YOU Neon. Your channel covers the game solely, yet you are late with the news as it comes out. Makes you look really jaded.

  4. Main questline is too short. Very few side quests that aren't "gigs". Some areas of NC are bare of "gigs" as well, ie Corpo Plaza, Heywood, Pacifica. Watson, where you start out at, is the most "gig" heavy area, therefore making the game very "front heavy".

  5. I just love how all the complaints on this game is from Sony fan boys & people who have an Xbox one & PS4. This game is running SMOOTHLY on my Series X. & I know everyone does not have nex gen consoles, but this game was not meant for the PS4 & Xbox one until these fan boys started complaining. Which is why it was delayed. PC gamers are having an awesome time with the game & so are Series X players. PS5 is not even a finished console because I know several people with a PS5 & several games are crashing. I think this was a mistake by CDPR to release it to old consoles. As far as the PS5, their fan base has mostly idiots who don’t do research about specs because that console is not really great as far as right now. It will improve over time. Right now as a GAMER, Xbox is where it’s at.

  6. They can and will patch the clipping and any graphic errors, even the AI, but the RPG bit of the game feels shallow. Specially if we think that they are the creators of The Witcher 3, a game when most of the time, you had more than 1 way to end a mission and every option was a degree of moral gray, unlike in Cyberpunk

  7. Playing on ps4 and it is hilarious with the potato texured people, however it is comparable to early skyrim in its bugs. Unlike skyrim the bugs I've encountered are graphical and funny whereas early skyrim bugs would crash your game. Also why was fallout 76 allowed to be sold, as of the last time I gave up on it it was still a buggy mess.

  8. I keep watching and reading this stuff it’s like 76 all over again where I’m enjoying a game while the online community acts like I should feel bad for liking it. I’m disappointed it’s so buggy but I’m hopeful they will turn this mess around as the story is strong and the world has enough for many many more dlcs and games in the future.

  9. 2020 had one last kick in the gut before it ended, having spent 95 hours with the game and having finished my first play through, bugs and performance aside, I feel there are greater core issues with the game. It really feels like they cut a shit ton of content of the game and I mean a lot, like a 100 hours worth of good well written sidequests and around 15-20 hours of main quest. I'll say it plainly, the game isn't as good as The witcher 3. They cut far too much time out the main quest, I rather rhave a story be too long than too short, the ideal scenerio though would be a nice balance of course.

It's not as fleshed out, nor does the world feel as alive, despite how pretty and big the city is, thats about it, Its just pretty, otherwise it feels extremely shallow. It feels like the game doesn't take advantage of its world, lore and the city itself, it all gets pushed to the side to focus on saving Vs life and showcasing Johnny's past. There is so much potential there and it feels wasted, this is what I mean when I say it feels like a lot of content was cut or scrapped.

The main quest is pretty good, but it feels too short and rushed I say this as someone that played the sidequests and put off playing it as long as possible, there are too little significant characters in the story as well. I did like Johnny, Keanu did a fantastic job playing him, but I hated the feeling of being rushed to complete the campaign because your character is dying, terrible choice of plot hook for a RPG if you ask me, as it doesn't give you time to explore and take in the world, really immersion breaking. How can you give a player a whole city then, basically nag them the entire time to complete the main quest ? I despise when developers do this in RPGs, especially open world ones.

The game overall is far less RPG than even the witcher was, they said it wasn't GTA in the future, but I'm afraid it kinda is, just less sandboxy and with dialogue options. Cyberpunk is closer to an action adventure game with RPG elements, rather than an RPG itself. Despite what they said, the story itself is quite linear, with very few branching paths and intersections, outside a few missions, nor do the sidequests affect main plot as much was promised.

In the end your character, V feels more limited with the decisions he makes and feels extremly isolated from the world, there are far far less dialogue options than Geralt had and the decisions you do make are less impactful, with less people overall to make that impact on. Funny I thought a cutsom character would have more freedom, but in reality V's story feels a lot more restrictive and limited than Geralt's did. One of the few bright spots in this game for me, one I felt I truly connected with was Panam, she was so much more than just a romance quest for me, it felt like she was Vs one and only true friend after Jackie dies.

She's one of the few people I felt I actually made an impact on and the only the character that made the world feel more than just a pretty backdrop, someone I could rely upon. In the witcher there were so many more well written characters like that, something I feel this game is lacking in spades. Every moment with her was absolute sublime, especially as a nomad. Not that there weren't other great side characters like River, Judy, Johnny's crew, the sentient AI vending machine and Delmain, to name a few.

Outside quests and characters like that, everything else felt like typical busywork, the gangs nothing but fodder no stories or characters there, corporations hardly playing part outside Arasaka, almost no random encounters and interesting characters you can find along the way, it just doesn't feel like a CDPR game sadly. They promised us many great deltailed well written sidequests and characters, that is not the case here, I'm sorry but I have found no such quest of the quality of the Bloody baron among other well written TW3 quests, whether it be main or side plot.

I'm sorry but you know its bad when the fantastic city you have created hardly matters in the grand scheme of things, when the game feels like it would have been better off without it and taken a more traditonal curated campaign, you know you fucked up somewhere along the way. It's sad cause I know this IP and how rich and dense its lore is, how amazing and iconic the characters are and most all, the waste of such an amazing videogame city, the best every created in terms of scope.

They can still fix this, but its going to require a lot of work time, they need to add more characters, many more sidequests, a way to truly save V, definetly more in depth Panam style romances that and characters impact the story. I can't help but imagine how many things your character could get up to without worrying about death constantly over his/her shoulder. As I said earlier it feels like there is a lot of missing content a lot, if they want this game to match or surpass TW3 they are going to have to do those things, otherwise the game will be remembered for the letdown and buggy mess it curently is.

  10. Well, I'm glad I bought it on PC then. Course, even on PC, I've run into a few of times where I get stuck on a questline because the characters just stand there and not proceed. The worst was on the Delamain questline where I couldn't move on because my character forgot how to pull himself through a window. Was stuck on there for awhile and even reloading didn't help. Had to leave the area and go back to my apartment to rest in order to fix it. Other than that, I've been able to they've been fixed easily enough by reloading my save. Had other immersion-breaking experiences, but it hasn't been horrible for me.

That being said, I'm disappointed that the bugs are still this prevalent on launch despite the delays. Gameplay wise, while it's still a fantastic game, it's certainly not the "game of the generation" we were promised. Not seeing some of the minor details they promised either. Most obviously to me is that I'm not seeing the reload animations of the guns change as my character gets better with them. They might be a bit faster through perks, but the motions remain the same. It's a small thing I know, but it's one of the main minor things I was looking forward to seeing (especially after playing some of the Johnny Silverhand parts and seeing the ridiculous ways he reloads his hand cannon lol).

All in all, it's a fantastic game, but the bugs still need to be addressed and a lot of the details they're missing need to be added. I'm confident they'll fix the former, but I hope they move on to the latter afterward.

  11. I'm not gonna lie, last gen consoles are lucky to even have the possibility to play this game. Even on PC it requires a monster rig to run max graphics. While this doesn't excuse the bugs (which I seem to get a lot less of since 1.04), poor performance on last gen consoles does not warrant a disappointment for a next-gen game.

  12. They got greedy and forgot the last Gen they were supposed to be making this for

Also you are a weapons grade idiot If you think it should not have been released on last Gen consoles as it was promised
