In the distant future, the power of science and technology has ushered a new age to the human race. Space and time have become irrelevant thanks
to virtual reality. A new kind of supercomputer has been developed β a machine which superior artificial intelligence and computing capability will
push humanity even further. There is only one problem: there isnβt enough
energy in the whole planet to feed this machine.
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing a Dyson
Sphere, a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its
power and energy. Only a few decades ago it was considered a hypothetical, impossible invention β but now itβs in your handsβ¦ if you can manage to develop this space workshop in some galactic backwater into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire!
ABOUT EARLY ACCESS
While the core mechanics of Dyson Sphere Program are ready, the game still can grow and evolve a lot β and Early Access is just the perfect place for it to reach its true potential. We believe that by letting players experience the main content of Dyson Sphere Program and actively interacting with them to collect their feedback will allow us to improve the game and make it much better than it would be without this Early Access stage. Our plans are for this EA stage to be about 1 year long. But that is not written in stone

Aren't the logistic towers blocking your railguns?
Your going to have a decline in your solar sail output because when the towers are in the way they wont fire. I'd move your guns away from the logistics towers. Even the power pole that charges you is considered "tall" and can stop them from firing. Maybe make a solar sail dedicated facility on the secondary planet that fires from there, since you wont have nearly as many megastructures there!
Time to hook up all the ore patches on all the planets in the solar system to the logistics system to prevent any shortages for the next little while

Best use of Hydrogen in the Tri-state area!
Youre gonna be crying when you dump all your deuterium into producing fuel rods, and then you hit Warp drive tech level xD Will have to split it as best you can. And eventually you will produce deuterium directly instead of on a % chance. You can also COVER mining nodes that annoy you.

yeah — my suggestion from the last video on going form miners -> logistics tower was b/c of what might happen when raw resources run out and assembling machines that rely on them run dry. glad to see you're looking to change that setup. you're basically going to a logistics bot/chest fed manufacturing setup like you have for one of the sciences in your factorio 3k science build. makes sense here i think where raw resource patches are relatively smaller. loving this series btw!

Is a long belt of fractionators better than multiple short ones? It seems like it would end with more gaps and lower efficiency towards the end of the line before refilling. Though it might be an inconsequential difference with the fast belt.
Removed all h2 from my first base en used al oil for plastic etc because h2 I can get from the gas giant
Fractionator's a real thing.
Not sure if someone has pointed it out yet … You can select the item for crafting and it shows you what it is used in (like you are crafting from your inventory, not a machine).
EXCESS HYDROGEN?? What, i am always lacking hydrogen and i am working on my Sphere around the local sun..
haha this is what happens to me everytime i try to automate a new material, all of a sudden my supply chain completely runs out and everything else gets backordered, im about 20 hours into my build and ive spent a looot of time just fixing my beginner mistakes and optimizing manufacturing of all the basic things. slowly getting better but im really close to automating yellow science now. it makes me dizzy looking at the stuff i need next because every required material has like 3 levels of items needed for it lol. so much fun though
If you need to just get rid of excess hydrogen and don't want to burn it as fuel, the miniature particle accelerator will do a better job as it is twice as inefficient. The accelerator takes 10 hydrogen and makes 5 deuterium, so you convert 2 tanks of hydrogen into 1 tank of deuterium. The fractionator will convert 1 hydrogen into 1 deuterium. So if your goal is to just get rid of hydrogen then the particle accelerator is your best bet.

For the smelting areas you've built up already, just replace the empty ore patches when they're done with logistics towers. Easy fix
Throw it somewhere, forget about it, and rediscover it when it has ruined your sorting system.

You'll need an enormous amount of hydrogen to produce produce the pink crystals, which you need to produce green cubes. So. There's that.
I think your mecha's core power may have a bug. You got the tech for +400 MJ, and it worked at first, but somewhere in time it dropped to 380 MJ.
So how does that cool little science thing work when you have purple green and white… mine looks ridiculous spaghettis lol
Silly question..but how are you building on a circular grid? I can't find an option anywhere and stuck on a square grid. Which, is boring and unappealing to the eye on large scale.
