Let’s check out this shiny new game I just got! It’s called Dyson Sphere Program, and it looks like it could be a great factory-building game.

  1. Hi Tuplex,
The problem you had with the sorter at 24:40 is that the smelter is elevated due to difference in height of the ground.
And the sorter can only go a maximum steep angle.
And this is why the sorter goes one block further to connect to the belt, to stay within the parameters of the angle.
    Same problem at 48:48
But this is really not effective.
As the longer the sorter is the more time it takes to move the item from the belt to the building.
Love the series please do continue.
    Greetings Listerman.

  2. While it is so similar to Factorio and perhaps even Age of Empire (mechanically at least) it seems intriguing nonetheless…would love to see you make a series out of this. I'm liking the interface…pretty slick!

  3. I only heard about this game yesterday so this couldn't have come at a more opportune time whilst I decide whether to pick it up. Seems good so far – I'm intrigued by the larger macro level industry when you start mining/manufacturing across several planets.

  4. "rather loud in my headphones". You probably want to sync up what we hear and what you hear. That way you can serve the audio for us at a proper level. I found game sounds from this video way to low compared to your voice. But for you it probably was fine.

  5. Nice video, but what you are missing is that unlocking the placement of mining machines with shift +R means you can get up to 8 surrounding resources. Most I see you are dropping on the grid are only yielding 4-5 which is a wasted production process overall.

  6. Looks like a great game, gonna try it out. The sorter issue with the copper may be because the smelter is off center relative to the miner. Definitely like you to keep this going as a series.
