  1. EA have huge resources and could easily buy the rights to publish real life courses just as they have secured rights to teams and stadia in games such as FIFA, NBA, NHL etc.

  2. it’s no coincidence that EA made this announcement – out of spite for
2k – god forbid they have a little competition. Now – to dethrone Madden with a fun and enjoyable non-cash grab football title!!!

  3. Well there's defo gunna be another 2K2? then if they've just signed Tiger and bought HB studios. Interesting to hear that EA are bringing a new game out but I think I'm more interested to see what the new 2K game will be like now that Tiger is apparently executive director and consultant. Hey mate, I've been a bit slack on your vids lately. Been a bit slack on the game in general. Well the computer game version anyway. Been playin heaps of real golf instead. Just bought myself a new set of TaylorMade M6's. Kept seein all the pretty new clubs on 2K21 and just couldn't help myself. Now I'm slicing the ball into the trees with style lol. Sounds like I'm gunna have ta get a PS5 sooner or later but it prob won't be for a bit seein as I just busted the bank on a new set of clubs lol. Not even sure if ya can get em down here yet anyway.

  4. It's weird that they haven't put out a golf game in 7 years. Why now? What changed? I wonder if the success of 2K21 had anything to do with it. I bet they'll go with whole new physics.

  5. Didn't EA buy HB not too long ago? Usually when that happens they will only produce one game. They may release the latest HB game but after that, the HB style gameplay might be done. But who knows.

  6. In my view, PGA Tour 2K21 is simply a much better looking game aesthetically. In 2K the bunkers look vastly better (including rake marks, edging, ball marks & roll trails, etc.), the transitions from fairway to rough and from fairway to green look much better, etc. I also agree with a previous comment that 2K's Course Designer feature allows for a wonderful abundance of terrific (community-created) courses. In short, 2K is simply a better looking game. I'm obviously not sure how the actual gameplay between the two compares, but simply from what I see in your great video & review, this iteration of the old EA TW golf franchise doesn't "wow" me, it simply doesn't impress me. Will I give EA a whirl when it's released? Meh, not so sure, maybe, maybe not; TW/EA has had its day… Rory or not, from my perspective, 2K looks like it will continue to be the more enjoyable platform.
