  1. Is…there a problem with proposing using a boat made of dandelions, aside from that just being a weird decision…? Is that some kind of…stereotype?

  3. wait did they just assume xinyan is black just because she has dark skin? i'm asian but have brown skin does that mean i'm black? also isn't liyue actually china and xinyan was born and live there doesn't that mean she is asian with dark skin and not black? i'm confused are people with dark or brown skin black now? damn my brain hurts.

  4. Not boycotting it for its horrendous gacha system , not boycotting it for the CCP , boycotting it for non existent problems .

  6. Why does it always have to be about race and culture? It's a fantasy game. A work of fiction, based in a universe that doesn't exist. These people need to chill their pill and smoke a huge blunt. Why is art being forced down this road of a certain narrative when these looneys lose their shit?

  7. There's a very simple reason there's only two dark-skinned characters in the game. For now there's only two regions in the game: Mondstadt and Liyue. The first is inspired in central Europe while the second is inspired in China; those two dark-skinned characters are from other regions that will be added to the game later on. That's like when people complain about european-inspired medieval movies not having black characters.

  8. It is hillarious that they try to press africans into regions based on China and medieval Europe, where blacks would have been non existant. They try to see Xinyan as african despite the fact there is darker chinese and she has a chinese name and clothing. And yea, I dont think Genshin will actually feature proper africans because china is hella racist. Not that that is right but its their game and you have to accept that they do what they want to. All they do is yell and cry about stuff but when it gets down to it, they dont wanna leave their couches and go out and do some solid work to combat chinas racism problems, that just prove they are spoiled little brats who dont really wanna do good and save people.

Also… You cant boycott a free to play game XD

  9. I guess Genshin is really NSFW – Not Safe For (certain) Westerners.

You made a strong point there on representation politics among some folks. And how silly this all becomes.

  10. I don't think putting an equal sign between a random company and the chinese government and using that as an argument for boycotting their product is good. I mean, should I stop watching your videos because Biden is in charge? No, what do you have to do with the goverment that is in charge? The same goes for this chinese game company… what are they supposed to do? Close down their offices because Chinese government is doing something bad? Come on – they are a company, they are trying to make a living.
But I'm sure that both the Chinese goverment and the Chinese gaming company don't care for americans on twitter getting sad. And I for one am glad that at least there are some entities in this world that don't care for twitter mobs.

  11. Japan has a lot more blowback towards this crap than the West. Ironic that they talk about colonizers, while they try to shove their Western Values down Japan's throat. Meanwhile, actual women are being abused in the Middle East but we're not allowed to say anything about that…

  12. not gonna lie
i got called racist for saying
"so basically, making villains and mobs are restricted

    i see i see

i dont care about the reference about how the enemy mobs or chars are

the only thing that hurts is being called a hilichurl for saying certain language

aka the players are the problem not the game

    goodbye"
then the quote tweet be like
edgar time 🙁 im so tired @Edgar_valden
    "//racism

wow look at this fucking idiot"

so yeah, ive had enough of twitter and decided to leave it alone rather than losing braincells after they said:
"Did you know that people can focus on more than one issues at a time or do you not have the brain power to do so yourself? And you can literally reference anythinf other than indigenous people sure why the fuck not shouldnt it be a butterfly hell you can make it your mom too"
