  1. So, I'm slow and bit of a dummy here, but these seems pretty weak, like, thaumaturge get only 2% each stage and so it max (unlocked with 50CP) at only 10% Dot damage? I could get like maybe 30% Dot damage on current CP1.0, and maybe for only 20CP or somwthing. Does this mean when update launched, I will find my character significantly weaker?

  2. Ok. My stats read better with my current toon from the live server to pts. But reading better doesn't mean anything. As I am now down 25k dps from where I was at 60k dps.

    Basicly a giant nerf.

    Of you're around lvl 1200 you'll feel as weak as you did around cp 310

    You wont feel as powerful as you were until you hit 3600…

    They basicly nerfed everyone. Gave them pretty numbers on a screen. Speed up on foor and mount…. and give us negative effects with our gear now… nerfed the crits I spent all year trying to get to as well..

    Noobs will be fine with it. But a lot might not be. Me personalities I'll learn to cope.

    They beefed up armor repair, so that you spend your pointless cp points now into it, to get us to where we were at. Same with way shrine.

    You won't see these dudes showing the pts stuff show you how nerfed it is fighting the dummys.

  3. I quit playing because of the champion point grind. I have been playing since launch and I am only in the 300's. I have a family and a job. I will conceivably never hit "end game" because I have no hope of maxing the points. I wish they would greatly lessen the grind or remove the system entirely. But until massive changes in leveling time go into effect I am done with this game.

  4. Honestly this doesn't seem that different. Sure it's cleaner and easier to understand but it doesn't fundamentally change anything in terms of gameplay. I want big CP changes, like a skill tree which changes melee heavy attack to return magicka or something different like that. The game feels so limited in terms of builds it's not even funny.

  5. Remind me the trail's tree of Path of Exile. Not the same system, but the concept have similarity and require some planification. Anyway, after 2 weeks somebody gonna find the META so..

  6. there is too much horizontal progression in this system . I actually like having my chrachter get more powerful over time. Not a fan of this. There needs to be a pve system where you can just pour on power and a pvp where you can only slot things.

  8. Its insanely good yet EVERYONE that has played the PTS is calling it trash. lol I learned with Warcraft to trust the beta testers word. When they say something in Warcraft is trash it ends up being trash.

  9. This change, if not Massively changed on exp… will absolutely kill this game.
    New players see "ok, i have to level 1 – 50, that is ok… but then i need to level 2000+ more, and even if so, still be absolute trash for PvP and PvE……. FUCK THAT… delete game".
    I am one of those new players… i am cp 250.
    And when this goes live… and if not massively changed… i will be even less dangerous than a critter in PvP and PvE… that is not something i find very interesting or fun.

  10. They have simply changed this to keep everyone grinding for more years and thus keep paying them for years. This system is great for you and others who already have 3 k plus cp. For anyone else it’s garbage. I mainly pvp and the rate of cp acquisition is painfully slow. they are boosting it but from 1200 cp onwards it will be as slow as it is now. On that basis i will take 2 or 3 years to get back to the level cap. So overnight i go from fighting on a level playing field in pvp to being disadvantaged again FOR YEARS. i know that damage is frontloaded in the cp but high level players will be VERY tanky. This system is not designed for our benefit but purely to keep us playing for their benefit. It is only good for hardcore who are maxed out as of today. This coupled with the fact that zos cannot maintain their server to produce pvp that even works will be the breaking point for many players. Many in my guild are now looking to other games. For me it is over, i’m sick of moving goalposts and the monetisation of these games. This game is the worst performing mmo i’ve ever played in pvp. They should fix that but they are unable. It’s a joke that for years they have introduced proc set after proc set into the game and now want to test the removal of all these sets. Guys you designed this mess, i paid for it, you think i’m dumb enough to stick around while you screw up my game time trying to find a fix. Nope. I’m out.

  11. good or not, it doesn't undo the fact that they failed to plan for end-game [and beyond] level progression… changed it on us 1x already [from vet level to cp]… then turned off applicable progression all together for over a year, 5 or 6 updates? honestly, the 'new' cp tree reminds me of skyrim legendary progression. in which case it is nothing new at all…

My worry is the increased gap between new players & veteran players, someone with say 500 champion points is going to have a very, very hard time catching up to people at 2k to 3k champion points, which is going to make a huge progression gap & create a massive grind, then the poor new players that come to the game, might have to grind champion points for literal years just to compete
    unless CP is dumb easy to obtain up until around 1.5 to 2k champion points, i see this going poorly

  13. So if I’m ~ CP 900 now, will I parse the same with the new system as I do now? I’ve heard that players have lost 30%+ DPS on the trial dummy with only 810 CP allotted on the new system, but I’m not sure how true it is. Are there any recordings of vCR+3’s or similar content being completed on the new patch with 810 CP? Since I’m able to do endgame content now, I will be very upset if the patch rolls over and my damage drops significantly. Many players in my guild are super excited for these changes because the hardest content they attempt is Fungal Grotto 1. But from what I’ve heard I am rather nervous that players under 1700 CP won’t be able to complete endgame content at the same level as before, unless they grind Crimson Cove adds for 400 hours to level up.

  14. Do you think they will combine mount stats across the user’s account when this big overhaul comes out? Maybe still make it a little harder to get by increasing gold cost?
