  2. Ahhhh, a genestealer cult, gotta watch out for them. Just eradicated one last week but if left unchecked that would have caused a major rebellion. I would let the astartes handle that stuff but nah, I want to kill something for once. Standing around the palace doing nothing is boring.

  3. Another thing about the tau is that everyone associates them with the “good guys” of 40 K but really the average tau soldier/Citizen is fighting for their “greater good”but in reality it’s believed The ethereal’s are brainwashing them to further their own goals “and I don’t mean propaganda I mean like pheromones, drugs and shit…and propaganda” , it’s also believe that’s how they got the various tribes to stop fighting each other because according to the lore they just walked into the enemy leaders camps and walked out with peace treaties

  4. Ah,mmm yes the tau, very hated among players. They practically get sucked off by writers. LOOK how much plot armor they have bro, its not even funny if you read some of they stuff they get away with. They somehow repelled a "minor" imperial crusade called the "Damocles Crusade" and the victories the Imperium does win like the "Kappa Mortis Incident" are SUPER minor and insignificant. It really pisses even tau players off which feel like they have not earned the victories by great effort but rather PLOT CHEESE, the worst kind of cheese (╥﹏╥).

  5. This is how my tactics are on the tabletop. I like to have a Telemon heavy dreadnought in front and behind it a vexilla magnifica (which is a custodes banner carrier). He has a special aura which -1 to the hit roll for shooting. Let’s say a unit hits on 5+ roll but with the magnifica it goes up to 6+ which means 5s no longer hit. I bring him in against shooting heavy armies because they mitigate some shooting damage. I move him up behind the dreadnaught which is very chunky and can absorb a lot of damage. Although the dread is lack luster when it comes to damage output, that is not his purpose in my list so I don't care, he is just there to tank and tank he does, so it is worth it for my play style. Once I get close (Very Close like 6 inch close to enemies because of the tanking of the dread) enough I pop the vexilla teleport homer strat which will allow me to teleport within 6 inches of the vexilla but more than 3 inches away from enemy models allowing me to teleport EVERYTHING into the center and just murder everything. with "superior fire pattern" double rapid fire. All of this by turn 2. This is a Strike REALLLY hard and REALLLLY fast army. I do not hesitate and I go all out. This is a infantry/bike play style.

  6. If you were to think about Custodes combat in lore think of it like the whole army teleports in right on top of the enemy like Asgardians( https://youtu.be/J01AVlnHjeM?t=51 ) and just slice and dice them not even giving them the time to shoot, let alone draw their melee weapons (if they even have one COUGH Tau). Although the Custodes and Tau never met that is how it would play out. The Tau would be in a good position in a perfectly formed ambush or gun line, then the Custodes teleport down killing almost every one before they even fire their first blasts. Tau are good at range BUT SUCK in melee. Lets just strip them of their main advantage because we are Custodes.

  7. Necron lores a bit….. complicated. Mainly because most of the war in heaven hasn’t actually been explained and we only get snippets of it here and there and it gets a lot more complicated with many theories about what actually happened.

    Cliff note version
-necrontyr at first were just laughed out of most of the galaxy by the old ones.
-they discovered the first ctan noming on their own star which may or may not be why their species was doomed from its birth.
-they managed to communicate with them and found out the ctan had also lost a war to the old ones millenia ago.
-bff was formed without reading the fine print and the old ones were killed (theres an entirely different setting called warhammer fantasy where a handful of old ones also existed and one theory is that the two settings are actually the same and the last handful of old ones were nomed when the eldar created slaannesh)

    Then the multiple theories start.
    1) ctan nomed each other which let the necrons beat them which doesnt make sense with armies of eldar and orks still running around and not a good idea to just take a nap in the middle of a war for survival.

    2) old old old lore was that the ctan were never beaten and instead just forced the necrons to sleep waiting for the galaxy to repopulate so they can nom more races again. This ones most likely been entirely retconned.

    3) there was an event called the enslaver plague where the first daemons started invading the material space. Theyd infect a race and meat puppet them and use them to grow thousand of more enslavers to spread throughout the galaxy and led to the death of most of the galaxy. The ctan and necrons have trouble dealing with daemons and psychic powers because their entire near magical level of technology is still 100% based on real world physics. Granted its the crazy batshit real world physics that you can do with sources of infinite energy. Anyway theory goes the necrons managed to throw off the ctan during this periode when every other race was driven to or near to extinction and just looked around at what was stalking through the galaxy and went nah fam were good and noped themselves to bed waiting for all the daemons to go away. Which then led to the rebuilding of the ork, eldar and forming of the first human federation with only snippets of lore about the necrons remaining and mostly as legends because their species got really messed up by the enslavers and couldnt go after and mostly forgot about the necrons when they took their nap.

I go with third theory being most probable since its the only real one explaining why armies with the capabilities of doing things like making black holes or moving stars around for lols didnt go and exterminate the necrons while they were napping.

  8. The reason tau suck at melee cuz they so weak, average strength of tau is like an teenage human so they have to relay on giant mech, their mech much faster then the imperial titans but weak def so in melee they get rekt but they got tons of variety type of mech…only commander farsight & his colony use melee but in mech.. But compare to gundam they weak af.. Gundam 00 alone can destroy their mech..
