Friday Night Crunchin’ (a.k.a Vs. Cereal Guy) is a mod created by Grossalicious that has Boyfriend go up against the Cereal Guy and Trollface from the Rage Comics. The mod currently has six songs, plus four bonus songs in the Freeplay menu.
Vs. Sonic.EXE was a mod owned and directed by Saster and Comgaming_Nz. The main opponent of the mod is the titular character from the Sonic.EXE creepypasta, but it also features many other horror-oriented characters from other official and fan-made Sonic media, including Sonic (PC PORT), Sonic CD, Sunky, Sonic R and Sonic Shorts, and Sonic the Comic. Along with others
Friday Night Funkin’ Lullaby is a mod created and directed by Banbuds that revolves around Pokémon creepypastas. The main weeks are inspired by Hypno’s Lullaby, Easter Egg: Snow on Mount Silver and Lost Silver (as well as it’s Secret Route). Not to mention there’s a hidden main week that is based off of the glitch Pokemon MissingNo. and Buried Alive.

After beating story mode, you’ll unlock a shop in the freeplay menu, that can be used to discover the remaining secret songs. These are inspired by DISABLED, Strangled Red, Hell Bell, Glitchy Red and Purin. You’ll also find a couple other joke songs and another song that uncovers the melancholic past of our dreaded antagonist…

This mod was released at approximately midnight on Halloween, while the V2 Update released on October 22, 2022. It is the first mod where the player has to press a button rhythmically and type certain sentences, making it one of the hardest mechanics.
Mistful Crimson Morning is a mod created by Crumby and directed by Havoc, formerly directed by LtSazo. The main story is based off of the lost episode Creepypasta Squidward’s Suicide (A.K.A Red Mist), although it also features several other official and unofficial versions of SpongeBob characters, be it parody or creepy, as freeplay extras.

A DLC expansion for the mod was originally announced in a tweet, but it ended up being canned due to controversies and burnout, causing it to become its own stand-alone mod: Nightmare Squidward Madness.
Friday Night Funkin’ (stylized as FRIDAY NIGHT FUNKIN’ and often abbreviated to FNF) is an open-source[2] donationware rhythm game first released in 2020 for a game jam.[3] The game was developed by a team of four Newgrounds users, Cameron “ninjamuffin99” Taylor, David “PhantomArcade” Brown, Isaac “Kawai Sprite” Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution and PaRappa the Rapper and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games.[4] The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site whose popularity peaked in the early 2000s.

The game mainly revolves around the player character, Boyfriend, who must defeat a variety of characters in singing and rapping contests in order to continue dating his love interest, Girlfriend. Gameplay revolves around hitting notes with timed inputs while avoiding running out of health for the duration of the song.[5][6]

The game was initially created for the Ludum Dare 47 game jam in October 2020.[7] A full version backed on Kickstarter titled Friday Night Funkin’: The Full Ass Game is under development.[8]

  1. Hypno sounds horrible in this. Sorry. He's completely out of tune and it really ruins the cover.

But I do think Sonic and Squidward both sound pretty darn good. Sonic could use a small bit of fixes here and there, but for the most part they're both almost completely perfect and it's quite an interesting cover.
