Firstly, to explain the “Scrapped” in the title. So, this & the other two songs uploaded today were tracks that I made for a potential release of the “Vs. Kaitlin” mod. Unfortunately, between very little progress after three months and the director kinda moving on from it in that lull, she decided to can the mod. However, these were some of my earliest songs and, after talking with the director, I decided this would be how I handled this mod never seeing completion.
Secondly, things probably look fairly different with the editing. Since I graduate in a couple months, I’ll likely lose access to all Adobe products, which means no Photoshop for editing images and no Premiere Rush (yes, I used the simpler one) for editing videos. So, I picked up Davinci Resolve as my means of video editing. I’m very much still learning the ropes, so hopefully none of these first videos have glaring mistakes.
This is the last I made, very much being a rendition of Prince’s “When Doves Cry”. I hope that’s made obvious throughout the song’s instrumental and the pre-chorus part. Similar to Fluffy Tail, this didn’t need as much reworking, more focused mixing. I intended for this to be the final song of the week, but it was relegated to being a Freeplay song since another musician was supposed to be on the main week’s final song.
