The best stats for Frost Mages are Crit and Haste. Other stats will vary a bit so I suggest you sim your character on raidbots.
Frost AoE:
It’s mentioned in the video but since I’m witing it here too.
For cleave (2+ target) cast blizzard on cooldown.
For AoE (4+ target) Don’t worry about trying to shatter frostbolts with flurry, just let those flurries rip. Fill downtime with Arcane Explosion instead of Frostbolt. Try not to cap procs and use Shifting Power to hit as many targets as possible if you’re night fae.
Also, with 4+ target and Glacial Fragments/Splitting Ice, when Blizzard is down spam proc-less Ice Lance when you run out of Mana to Arcane Explosion.

That's the second time I've heard someone say Focus Magic is an option if you have another frost mage in the raid, but you could trade with fire and arcane also.
This is where the impossibility to switch covenant become problematic.

How bad is the helm / gloves for Freezing Wings ? I thought it was good for AoE and ok for single target .. since it was one of the most used by the streamers (as far I could see so far) ? thanks for the guide!
Thanks man the fire video help a lot the other week never like fire till saw your video lol, with the frost one making it harder to know witch spec to pick fire or frost lol .So wanting mythic raid frost but can see fire pulling ahead on some fights so still don't know witch Covenants as the mage is just there to raid lol
is Fireblast worth Casting during movement situations when we neither have Fingers or Flury procc ? Or do we just wanna cast an IL without procc there?
confused with legendaries still. Do I want freezing winds as a first legendary since its okay for both AOE and ST? Or is temporal warp the first one I should get?
So ideally you want slick ice for ST and glacial for AOE. I assume the plan is to get both asap and then upgrade both together?

Hi Preheat, what are your thoughts on the potential dps loss from munching procs as frost vs say not utilizing firestorm procs properly as fire? Basically, which do you think would account for a higher dps loss? I'm assuming this is something very difficult to sim and wouldn't be reflected except in real-time results accounting for human error.
I do just want to say while NF is bad for frost ST you can just press the arcane button and now you're dealing with you're best covenant, and it's looking like at least with what I'm seeing arcane is better than frost ST. So the way I'm seeing is I'll just go NF and than if I got the time I'll make a venthir mage as an alt.
