Are you a mobile player or new to Genshin Impact as of patch 1.3? Well then do I have the video for you! I have constructed the ultimate tier list – one for all mobile players and beginners alike. This tier list is extremely unique and unlike the typical tier list functions more of a pathway to help you if you are lost or are wondering which units to build next on your Genshin Impact journey. With new characters constantly coming out it can be an intimidating task to know who you need to level up next in order to progress further in the game. The scale for which I am balancing the list off of an “ease of use” scale, such that the easier a character is to use or makes the game the higher they will rank.
Please keep in mind that my and any tier list ever made are all our opinions and are by no means Rule of Law. The goal is just to help out players who may end up needing guidance. This list is by no means a “X IS THE BEST AND ONLY CHARACTER YOU CAN USE AND YOU MUST SPEND 10 MILLION DOLLARS ON THEIR BANNER” type tier list. At the end of the day you can play whoever you want, and most importantly whoever you own. I don’t want to be the one that tells you who to play, but I don’t mind engaging in some fun discussion and helping out some players along the way.
Patch 1.3 introduced Xiao and Hu Tao to the character arsenal. Technically this is also considered a 1.4 tier list as well because 1.4 will have 2 reruns (Venti and Childe/Tartaglia) as well as the new character Rosaria, mostly focusing on new weapons. Character wise not too much will change as of the announcements.

K, so this video about experience using characters mechanic controller?
Tbh, the game plays differently based on what you use. I personally find mouse and keyboard best cause you get better aiming and camera speed, which really changes how you can play characters (especially bow users).
Granted, I don't agree with most tier lists, but this is an interesting concept. Just make lists for Mobile, Controller, and PC.

As a keqing hu tao main mobile player their pretty easy tbh

I feel like Ningguang has to be placed slightly higher from where she is because of her playstyle, all of which is very simple to grasp and take advantage of besides maybe some camera movement because of auto-aim being stupid.
Her general rotation is AA -> AA -> CAA with Es and Qs in-between, and she dishes a lot of damage for a 4-star carry too!
As a mobile Xiao dps I disagree. If your skilled enough, Xiao is SS tier. I am trying not to be biased as Xiao is my fav character but seriously, he is easy to use for me.

I use mobile when I'm outside, hutao is my favorite and she's easier to cancel with c1, jump cancel you gotta be an osu player. she's still viable without these tho, 3 light attacks 1 charge and dash cancel at c0 still deal load of damage, but if you jump cancel on mobile… you have my respect man
I was just so blessed that I got a C1 Hu Tao and I gotta say, like Bennet, her C1 is a maaaaajor leap for mobile players. She owns Abyss 12-3 like a children's playground with that constellation and that's all you need if you're a casual spender.
I feel like you've underestimated Xiao way too much as a B-tier. I was never an avid Xiao fan nor was I too hype for his banner, but when I did get him, he literally wipes the entire game lmao. Yes the camera adjust can be annoying, but honestly it does not happen THAT often for him to just be rated at B-tier. Whilst, Hutao was given an S-tier when she's practically so hard to use for me due to the jump canceling mechanic as well as the randomness of it in mob clears. So in my opinion, Xiao should at least be an S-tier due to him actually bring is as all you have to do is jump and plunge all the content in the game, whilst Hutao should be an A tier due to her really low ceiling if you can't master the jump cancel. Yes I am a mobile player.

As a person that mains Xiao I agree, with time you get the hand of it and use him properly and the camera don’t become that much of an issue but at the beginning he was pretty hard to use

Man the sensitivity in this game is so bad that when enemies suddenly teleported on your back your pretty much screwed as a ganyu because you cant go 360 no-scope on mobile.
Yes that camera issue with Xiao's alt is sooo annoying. And yes, HuTao is broken even when you don't know what are you doing the half of the time but seeing that sweet sweet 50k damage in one charge attack just sooo satisfying. And you forget the main things when you play as Jean… You can YEET the enemies to oblivion and for that it self it's already a fun thing to do and never gets old. And about Fischl, I really think that her, Childe and Venti is the best bow character for the mobile. Because you don't really aim with them lol. And her Physical build is good too and if you have C1 Fischl she is a railgun and it's so fun to play her.
