Genshin Impact – Version 1.5 "Beneath the Light of Jadeite" – Trailer Reaction

The 1.5 trailer has finally dropped, and by and large it’s what I expected after it was leaked all over the internet. But we did get a good first look at the housing system, and more importantly Yanfei and Eula!

Watch, and enjoy!

  1. 1.5 is very hype! housing System finally here but Eula comes first 😍 about the 5 years to 10 years I'm just guessing that they are going to extend the story line and more events as such. Their previous game which is now going to be 4 years is still on going with the storyline.

  2. If you haven't catched the 1.5 livestream, they straight up went ahead and revealed concept arts on different locations of Inazuma which I thought it was quite funny considering how they want to reveal something that not everyone is aware of yet lmao

  3. I’m assuming the 10 year plan is because they plan on starting a second storyline. Considering the video from the official Genshin YouTube is titled the “Teyvat Chapter Storyline” it implies that theres more stories to tell after Aether and Lumine’s stories.

Overall, can’t wait for Zhongli’s new story chapter and Eula. Also, make sure to check out the livestream for their Inazuma concept art!

  4. I'm actually the opposite when it comes to opinions on Yanfei an Eula designs.

Characters like Zhongli, Hu Tao, and Yanfei that have more going on in their design tend to be the ones I like more just because they're so visually interesting and memorable.

Characters like Albedo, Ganyu, and Eula aren't bad but they're just so plain when comparing them to most of the other designs that they just get lost in the sea of Husbandos and Waifus for me.

  5. I really like the Japanese voice for the new weekly boss in the trailer. The English dub just made him sounded like he's on a verge of laughter while trying to do those voice lines during the recording.
