Hitman 3 Nintendo Switch Review – Cloud Version Performance

This performance review is based on the full game, not the demo. The demo is actually the training mission from Hitman 1. I was asked by quite a few of you though if I would have a video similar to what I did for the Control Cloud Edition so here it is! Today we take a look at the first Mission set in Dubai for Hitman 3 and take a look at the graphics and performance of this Nintendo Switch cloud edition! Want to support the channel? A full review will be release over the next couple of days once I finish the game!

Death Awaits. Agent 47 returns in HITMAN 3, the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy.

  1. Paying full price for a game that is going to never be yours and will be put down from the server eventually is not my thing. If they would make a monthly subscription with several cloud games, then I would think about it.

  2. I really don't want these 'Cloud Edition' versions to get more and more frequent on the Switch, ports like Doom Eternal and The Witcher 3 are much more impressive and draw much more attention in my opinion even with the downgrades.

The idea of having to pay $300 for a console to have to pay $40~$60 for a game via streaming that won't be yours seems horrible, except that not everyone has such a good internet to support this, the idea of getting 100% dependent on the internet to play I never liked it and this is even worse on a console like the Nintendo Switch where the fun is to play wherever and whenever you want without having to depend on anything other than the game and the console.

  3. That’s how my Hitman missions usually go. Spend an hour sneaking and setting things up for the perfect stealth mission, just to have someone look the wrong way and alerting everyone. All that set up work down the drain as the inevitable fire fight ensues and I’m forced to murder everybody to finish the mission.

  4. There should be a rental price price for streaming games. Even if it's renting for a time period up to a price cap. It would be quite commercially viable to rent in 2 hour blocks until you hit purchase price cap and then you don't pay anymore — it's yours. So if you only play 4 hours, you just pay for two 2 hour rental periods. If you play for 100 hours, you don't pay any more than the purchase price. That would be the most consumer-friendly way to do it.

  5. What makes the switch so good is the hand held on the go and play anywhere and not worrying about some connection just to play a game and I do not even own the game to begin with? If they decide to do this for all future games, then that would be the demise of the switch because it would be better to play and own this on Xbox or ps5 with no issues and have the switch on house arrest because of your WiFi… If your connection is good.

  6. I tried the demo and it worked really well (Like Control)
Really smooth…The odd slow mo stop here and there.
    But still…Really good.
I'm glad you can play Hitman 1 to 3 on the freaking Nintendo Switch.
