New to the channel? I do Let’s Play videos — these are like walkthrough guides of gameplay with continuous English commentary trying to explain my decisions and what strategy I use. If you’re looking for hacks or cheats, you’re in the wrong place!

The game looks good, would not call it historical…
Could not download Quill have an account but the link above just sends me to the buying page any ideas. Love the channel
Ever wonder what would happen if you combine the exploits of Civilization and Endless Legend? Well here is Humankind to answer that very question!
I am looking forward to it!
I can't wait to see more of this!
So the spiffing brit AI will use CE to cheat his way trough the game and complain?
Man I love your videos😁😁🔥🔥
Been watching for years…
Merry Christmas 🎄🎄
It'd be great if the streamer opponents carried some element of their personalities. Imagine if you played against Quill, and he was a ""pacifist"" or Spiff found exploits and was obsessed with tea.
They gave you a really wide jaw there, looks kind of like a salad bowl.
I love the idea of picking civ traits based on your starting settlement, it's much more "realistic" anyways. Like, civilizations were the way they were because that's how they adapted to their historical circumstances, right? In fact it's kind of silly that no one thought of this before (correct me if I'm wrong so I can play that game).
I like but never really got into Endless Legend, another Amplitude Studios' game.
So far Humankind seems very similar.
Open question: apart from the fantasy trappings of EL, what are the biggest differences between Humankind and EL?
If I'm still playing EL, why should I switch to Humankind?
OpenDEV… Aka cuzz whiny people made Early Access sound bad.
Will there be another chance to get the AI skin if you missed this stream?
Stop prepurchase games guys, wait for the game so we don't get dissapointed again like cyberpunk… Let the developer finish and optimize their games and not care more about stocks than the final product.
Lol, watched Spiffing Brit play this.
can anyone play as themself or just for a few youtubers?
SpiffingBrit is in there as well.
Quill and The Spiffing brit are playable avatars in this game big brains.
Some people call saffron "the yellow gold".
With that opening HEeeeeeyyyyyy – I almost expected to hear Potato McWhiskey
Yikes
I wonder now if Spiff AI uses all the exploits in the game… XD
There are plenty of things more expensive than saffron. Apparently the most expensive substance is Californium at $27,000,000,000/gram! It exists in the environment in very, very, very small amounts due to nuclear testing prior to 1980 and has been known to be created in natural fission reactors (!!!) in a uranium mine in Gabon. Otherwise, it all has to be created. The price is from 5 years ago, but I doubt there's anything more expensive. https://www.visualcapitalist.com/the-worlds-most-valuable-substances-by-weight/; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Californium
oh nice. you have to watch streams to get access to it so you know your game a bit and dont complain too much lol
Saffron is only the second most expensive substance on Earth by weight. First place goes to tritium (a hydrogen atom with 2 neutrons), mostly used in nuclear applications
So you can’t get it by watching YouTube? The avatar or access?
So wait if he unlocks himself is that like unlocking transcendence….persona like?
"Did we actually get credit for killing an animal?"
Yes Quill, humans are animals. You killed a group of humans.
man this is soooooo cool
Hot chocolate
The moment I saw this game I instantly loved it! It looks very very promising! I really hope they finish it with great attention to detail, and don't abandon it like Ancient Cities was. I am eagerly waiting forward to playing this! (plz don't let me down, devs).
Looking forward to this since it will be the first 4X on Stadia
You deserve to be modeled in a Civ type strategy game. Quill, that’s so cool!
Saffron is like $72 an ounce while gold is around $1800. Still very expensive for a spice.
Oh wow, can't believe you can play as Iggy Pop as well
