I Built INTERPLANETARY Logistic Network! – Dyson Sphere Program Ep 4

Dyson Sphere Program let’s play gameplay today continuing to automate the galaxy! First off though, we need to build an interplanetary logistic network so we can automate multiple planets. Also, we’ll check out drones, titanium, and yellow science!

About Dyson Sphere Program:

Dyson Sphere Program is a sci-fi simulation game with space, adventure, exploration and factory automation elements where you can build your own galactic industrial empire and take over the galaxy!
You are a space engineer in charge of a project launched by the space alliance COSMO, tasked with a massive undertaking: constructing Dyson Spheres (a megastructure that would orbit around a star, harnessing all its power and energy) to produce the energy that humanity needs. Only a few decades ago, Dyson Spheres were considered a hypothetical, impossible invention – but now it’s in your hands… Will you be able to turn a backwater space workshop into a galaxy-wide industrial production empire?
Neutron stars, white dwarfs, red giants, gaseous and rocky planets… There is a big and varied universe out there, waiting for you to gather all its resources.
Every playthrough will be unique: your universe will be procedurally generated every time you start a new game. There will be different types and distribution of stars, planets and resources. Will you manage to thrive and build your Spheres, no matter what the universe throws at you?
As a space engineer, you are expected to design your interstellar factory and production lines, not to micromanage every small package going back and forth. You have to transport materials from one planet to another, forming interstellar transport teams that gather resources and bring them to where they are needed.
Then, your resources can be transported between facilities through conveyor belts, and you’ve got the technology to help your buildings fit the grid automatically during the construction process. You’ve got the best tools COSMO can afford to build a massive-scale automated production line – the most efficient one ever seen in the universe!
In my Dyson Sphere Program project let’s play gameplay I’ll go over Dyson Sphere Program tips, any new updates or any update, and I might even do a Dyson Sphere Program tutorial.

  1. Having poured a stupid amount of time into the game. The tech changes will mean you end up ripping up alot of what you have done over time. I focused on the energy aspects mostly and this seemed to of got me through building massive power farms. Seeing I've completed all the tech tree in game, if I were to play again, I would probably of opimised more my production at the start and prepped my supply lines for offworld supply. As you will end up being the primary supply in mid to late. A few thoughts.

  2. seeing kibs's base really makes me feel insecure about my base design

Like, my oil? probably better (since its built in a way i can expand it easily or copy it somewhere else if my belts cant keep up), but everything else? just a basic compact production line going into dumpsters

like its so bad. i have such a high ore production compared to the constructed good output. i could feed my entire base on one iron node but im giving each line one whole node each

  3. also bit of a tip for you kibz (and anyone else)

if one of your oil byproducts are vastly outpacing the others, then build a ton of fluid dumpsters and set it so that any excess goes into them

when fluid dumpsters are deleted, their contents vanish into the void, and each dumpster can hold 10k fluids/gas

  4. I'm about to build a huge storage bank for hydrogen and fuel… This seems like the only way to see what is the balance. To me it seems to be the only unpolished thing in the game because you essentially are required to have 0 surplus of either of them otherwise the other will stack and clog. That is even bigger problem because later in game A LOT of recipes make hydrogen. The only way out seems to be burning it or simply deleting (burning for power can be inefficient if you have too much power so burning slows down)… Ye…

  5. A Couple of thing about the towers, you can have up to 50 drones in any tower and up to 10 transport vessels on a tower. As long as there is drones/vessels on either the supply or demand tower then the goods will move. Drones/Vessels will not go to other towers that are not transporting to or from their own tower.

  6. hey kibitz you dont heave to power a logistical station if it doesnt heave its own drones so you can unplug you station on the lava planet, also you can set charging rate at the bottom of the gui in the station

  7. The logistics towers don't require power to operate, but they do need to charge the vehicles. Power bank charged at a rate you can set near bottom of logistics screen, more ships means higher recharge rate required

  8. Omg THE FIRE ICE from Gas Giants! Worth their weight in gold, or should I say graphene?
Anyway, get the gas giant harvester thing and get drunk in graphene!

And you can cheat your way through not having silicon by cooking 50 stone… πŸ™
    That's expensive.

  9. Your power grid cries because the towers work just like the roboports in Factorio. They have a battery in them that they charge and its a HUGE drain on your system… until fully charged.
