The Dyson Sphere Program Game is a new factory sim much like Factorio or Satisfactory, but with one big twist. The scale of this game is on a whole different level as it allows you to travel between planets and solar systems. In this game, your ultimate goal is to harness the power of the sun by building a machine called a Dyson Sphere. To do this you will need to build a massive factory that consumes resources from nearby planets and beyond. Completing the Dyson Sphere Program is no small task. I like to think of it as a journey of 100,000 clicks! In the gameplay series, I will take you on my journey through my Dyson Sphere Program where I tried to make the coolest looking base possible while quite literally trying to bring the entire galaxy to me to feed my one massive factory.
The game, Dyson Sphere Program is available on Steam and is currently at the time of this recording in early access.

Title: Amazing New Factory Game! Dyson Sphere Program Gameplay Series EP1 Season 1
#DysonSphereProgram #FactoryGame #DSP
Source
I have solar panel manufacture on one of the planet and I take 300 panels and just make solar panel rings on planet for power and put lot of receivers on poles to get that dyson juice.
would you consider making a smaller, entirely separate power grid for the purposes of charging those power capsule things? this way you wouldnt need to have excess power to charge them, you could just do so on demand even if your main grid is beginning to stall.
after doing this, you can just ship the charged capsules to places to give them a consistent source of power.
Where did oni go 😢😢😢
I'm as far progressed as you, but I've devoted the entire planet's resources to foundations
I have 17 mk2 storages of them
So, at what point does that space-based infrastructure start affecting your planetary solar output?
Brothgar's planet starting to look like the corona virus and it worries me…
after getting solar research, i started a self contained solar panel factory complex
its been chugging away for so long that ive had enough to ring my main planet twice around the equator and the lava planet once
no lack of power – for now 😉
What about changing the locations of those dyson ships in the shape of BROTHGAR. Could be like a revolving sign 🙂
I filled a whole planets surface with solar panels and doc´s always stealing from my 10 gw
When my factory planet started to hit its power limit, my solution was to set up an accumulator station on my solar-powered mining planet and hook it into my interplanetary logistics. I am essentially shipping sunlight from my innermost planet to my outermost one.
Make the sphere like a soccer ball.
frame reats canot drop more, bicause in options in game u can add more FPS that game can run esy.
228MW seems a little bit small power for something being so near to a star. The Earth receives about 174 PW (Peta Watt 174 * 10^15W) and the sun generates about 390YW (Yotta Watt 3.9*10^26 W). So, 228MW seems really out of place for such a device.
This is progressively getting spicier and spicier
Loooks amazing!
I didn’t think the sails would make up the shell, that’s actually really cool
8:38 The numbers are:
(rockets top, sails bottom) in place / in transit / total required
Your planet factory looks fantastic!
Build it
God processors are gonna be such a bottle neck.
Hey @brothgar, for more pretty and functional conveyors you should check out SkyeStorme's tips and tricks vids. Some pretty cool and space saving designs for conveyors. Cheers, love your content man.
And I thought ONI hurt my 🧠… I was CLEARLY wrong 🤕
@Brothgar I believe there is a mod out to make blueprints, so you don't have to destroy your fingers to scale up repeated patterns.
Gonna unsubscribe now… I want Oxygen Not Included… not this =/
Dude why you dont have belt upgrade..? 🙄
should have made the sphere bigger to have more physical contact with the light to adsorb more energy…. unless it doesnt work like that in the game
🙂
1000s of clicks….?
Just build one factory or any other thing with the right ore/product settings and connections to conveyers en copy past as many u want. As long they point the same way that is.
Save you some click nightmares 😉
It is very refreshing seeing you noob out a game…
Solar panels on the red planet are op!
Its close to the sun so ~130% efficiency and you have the material to make them and accumulators there.
I haven't even left my solar system jet, but I'm making ~900MW over there and shipping it with accumulators to the other planets…
In an effort to use all this power I just started shipping all my hydrogen there to convert it, but its just too much power XD
It sounds like you've developed a Tetris syndrome or Tetris effect with this game.
"The Tetris effect occurs when people devote so much time and attention to an activity that it begins to pattern their thoughts, mental images, and dreams."
@Brothgar
you can chain the power plants together and feed them, well.. in chain ^.^
0:11 So Vergil's final form is a sphere around the sun, I c now.
anyone kinda worried about the Dyson Sphere would destroy the ecosystem of the planet.
*NAH*
well its time to start dismantling planets to build the Dyson Sphere
In my experience the other pattern option for the shell design is better since you can make the nodes more dense.
Iv currently got half my sun covered in the default orbit shell.
Once its finished il design one at the max orbit which will render what I currently use the swarms for obsolete. “Angle for constant power transmission”
For the rockets I’m at the point i need to shift to a different planet if i want to increase production since I’m out of room and keep running into the limits of the MK3 belts.
Without calculating it again it’s something like 1800 items/min max.
One annoying thing i keep running into though is the the items/min listed on assemblers doesn’t seem to always be accurate enough to rely on.
