I was using the wrong response curve in the Apex Legends Settings options. I am a new man.

  1. I was on steady in the beginning, I. Pretty sure because you did a video with steady response curve. I switched back to classic pretty early and would bump my sensitivity up here and there…now I play linear withslightly lower sensitivity settings than I used to use….its amazing actually…I recommend anyone jump into linear on firing range and practice on the dummy mode where they move and shoot you back to get adjusted

  2. i never comment here usually but just want to say thanks so much for this. I'm not the best player at all but i was also thinking there was something off about my aim in apex. i changed this right after seeing your video and yep! that was the problem!

  3. Whatever works best for you brother but I cannot stress enough how Linear is the best for every shooter on controller. Tracking, any curve will work fine but with weapons like wingmans and snipers, linear is unmatched with how precise you can train your muscle memory.
I am always against the standard "ramp up" time that regular response curves offer and most games default settings have because it is impossible to grow muscle memory with flicks if there is a weird ramp up and a constantly changing sensitivity messing with your aim at all times. Linear eliminates this problem, so your aim will feel the same 100% of the time and you have full control, and you can grow precise muscle memory just like m&k players do. There are videos that explain it better, I highly recommend checking them out.
