I am all for it..90s video games are 🔥
omg, graded video game market has been around for so long … it's new to you, but not to anyone who has been into graded video games … not a new speculative market, do your research before making statements like that
Like sports cards, collecting is the foundation. All “investing” does is cause bubbles take a look at GA recent auctions with Prizim Gold. Video games are interesting as nostalgia play … especially the sports cross over for card collectors. Enjoy your videos, thanks for opinions and content – be safe.
To answer your grading question. YES. there are tons of these sitting around unopened all over the world ready to be graded. If they didn't sell on the shelf of any local town they just sit. It was a lot harder to commit to a $60 game 25+ years ago. Lots of them sat and still do today.
The first thing for any novice to know. is that there are CIB (complete in box, not sealed games) and then factory sealed games. These are two different tiers within the hobby. Sealed games generally go for 10x or more of the CIB equivalent. The sealed market is out of reach for most collectors due to the 5 figure sales of classic/rare games.
How does WWE card collecting look? I've did some research and those cards are moving strong as well.
How about a Kenner Starting Lineup episode?
Zero grading fee because that tier is not offered until they catch up.
A lot of physical movies will became collectible soon. A lot of physical movies due cancel culture is happening.
Who wants to make money and catch the next big wave early???? $$$$ Watch this video, look at the ages of the people and look at all the money they have( TV's, art in the background ect.)
( Fans React to The Mandalorian Chapter 16: "The Rescue" ) I have to admit, I cried for the first time since I was 8 years old, some 50 years ago. You need to see the entire series to understand it, but its worth it.
Such a strange thing seeing video games as an investment but really fascinating. I love the early days of video games an there is an excellent book on The Art of Atari which I highly recommend. Every time I watch Wreck-It Ralph, it brings me back to my childhood video game memories. My first console was the Atari 2600 which I've have since 1983 and it still works. I'm now in my early 40's and still play the games I loved as a kid on a regular basis through a Raspberry Pi. I still don't remember sucking so bad at Nintendo and Sega as a kid, but I may be playing video games as an old man too. The artwork of Atari was one of the things that inspired me to continue as an illustrator.
There's also vga grading, they are the people who do afa graded toys
Dustin, I think you were maybe thinking of Sega 32X system, not Nintendo N64? 32X was add-on to Sega Genesis, but they didn't make many games and it didn't last long (sadly for me, because I received for Xmas lol)
I've been looking at the signed Magic Johnson Fast Beak games.
MAN! Dustin, If you pay attention to the signs you will notice alot of synchronicity in life.. It is crazy because I was out picking Saturday stopped at a thrift store and found TWO mario 3 nes carts, one mario bros original cart, one mario/duckhunt cart and a mario world cart for the snes for around 6 dollars each oh yea and a duck hunt gun, now here it is Monday and you are talking about Mario and have a Mario 3 on the thumb nail. That is what I call a synchronicity.. oh btw I have to find out how to determine the variations of the original Mario bros games because I will have to check and I left one behind because the gold prongs on the chip board looked half as long as they should I thought they were broke as I have seen this before with nes games but now that I think of it what if it was an early rare chip board because the odds of them all being broke half way are pretty slim, it is probably gone by now fml
I’ve been buying CIB snes RPG’s and NES games for years. Came across a guy waiting for cards at target who bought a collection of games in 2009. The collection was EVERY GAME MADE FOR NES, cost was $5K. He has since acquired all snes and N64 games. I’ve seen this room and it makes me cry.
