  1. no but theres way to much complaining in the community including you just stfu and play the game if you dont like it good for you no one cares and same if you do, its the over thinking things meta that running the game also there multipul champs and items to counter shields so get good.

  2. I have idea: shield penetration stat. Lets say you have 10% shield pent and you auto enemy for 100 attack damage. Enemy takes 90 dmg to shield and 10 to their hp. This idea could be good but I too think it need more work

  3. I dont mid shields… but immortal is a problem… like im jhin full build and you have 1/3hp. when i hit you with 4th shot you shuld die npt take 200 dmg and get shield that desnt take rest of the dmg.. wtf

  4. MAKING ALL SHIELDS DECAY OVER TIME IS ACTUALLY A GREAT IDEA !!!
    -> it would value good timing
    -> and it would add conter-play of kiting !!!

    A lot of people in the comments are saying that tanks with shields is ok, but actually having a Poppy or a Shen resetting their shield every few seconds, WITH ARMOR that increases the resistance of the shield, with CDR, and with an Enchanter support giving them massive ones when their native one is on cooldown, is very depressing to play against !! (and i'm not an adc main, i'm a toplane/support main)
    -> being able to reduce shields with kiting, while repositioning, seems like excellent interactive design !

    But yeah we also need other items that reduce shields. Not for mages, but for ADCs, since they're supposed to not be countered by 'anti-burst' and can't just simply space out their auto-atks cooldowns like a mage could with their spells.

    You didn't mention the fact that what makes shields OP right now is the additions of %shielding increase, coming from items, which multiplies the base values and ratios. It's like having stacked mini Infinity Edges for shields… (also works for healings. That's why Grievous wounds had to be buffed)

    You also forgot 1 point : shields are ADDITIONNAL to your Health Bar, while you can't Over-Heal a champion's health bar.
    Therefore, healing is countered by One-Shotting, since you have to wait for the target to lose health before you can 'repair' their health. While Shield-stacking is free. And weakened only by the faact that they are not eternal. But yeah in an intense fight, a 4s shield is virtually eternal, since this duration is too long to be waited out. THIS IS WHY THEY SHOULD DECAY !

She became lost in the surge of new champions and I would love to see her brought to light so ppl can see how Interesting, fun, and formidable she can be…. Well when u don't miss your mounted W causing u to waddle for ur life. Lol

  6. Well I played league after 2 weeks still the same shit happens AFK players after inting, one laners do not care a bit about the team fighting, and everyone has enough salt to fulfill an entire nation's supply for a year. I better play genshin impact.

  8. enchanters just shield for too much tbh, maxing out someone's hp bar with shields is just as aids as lifesteal if they have 50% uptime anyway

    edit: also come on, shieldbow is an unconditional 800 hp shield come lategame, that's not a weak shield at all, it's well-worth the tradeoff for damage

Decaying shields are not a bad idea for large chunks of shields like tahms and setts but definitely not for small ones. you may as well remove small shielding if it only lasts 0.5 seconds since not all players have single digit pings or have quick reflexes to take advantage of such a small window of opportunity.
