C9 doomed. TL couldn't have gotten a better position all things considered.
The one thing that should not have happened is drawing FPX and Damwon in the same group. Personally wanted to see these 2 in the finals or at least semis considering the quality they have and the form they're currently in. Unfortunately, we will practically watch the best game in the opening of the group stage which kinda ruins the hype factor as the tournament progresses. Just like in any other sport, the toughest match of the tournament should be the Final one.
Right you know what I am gonna say it. I used to dislike dom I thought he was cocky and arrogant on TL and I so I didn't like his content or watch it (also I didn't like Thorin so I didn't watch crack down). Not only do I now enjoy Doms content now I actively look for his analytical approach to the game. Whether It was because I matured or Dom changed I am happy to say I am now subscribed it IWDominate. Keep up the good content Dom
Anyone here got an idea about when Asian pros arrive to Iceland ? Tracking the pros became stale with only EU and NA playing and inting their games to one tricks and solo queue terrorists.
Have mixed feelings about Group A. Damwon and FPX are heavily favored but Bo1 upsets aren't short from being guaranteed especially from teams such as Rogue and C9. It would be a good underdog story if one of them snatches the 2nd place or even 1st from the eastern teams but at the same time, losing either FPX or DK as early as group stages feels a bit off like being the biggest fishes in the tournament, we'd want to see them in semis at the very least. Gonna be a good watch nonetheless.

RNG mathematicly couldnt have been in any other group then C under any circumstances because TL cant be in group C because every region needs to be in a different group and TL would make it mathematicly impossible if LNG and HLE make it out most people would not understand it same is with T1 and group B.

how C9 can force themselves into group C (well a 50/50) int play in groups so you get 3rd or 4th place. Win first BO5 and then win BO5 vs HLE who'll probably be second place. A wildcard region will be guaranteed to get through.
Im unironically hype to watch playins lol. Also i really like PSG, hope they do well in that group
C9 should actually go for that Strat, its actually sensible if it actually lands them in group C

No one expected for C9 to get to semis, no one expected G2 will beat RNG, no one expected no Korean team will be in top 4 when they were most dominant region for years. Who knows, maybe this will be a year where LPL & LCK choke and we will have mad vs 100t on finals…. And then my hopium ends, it's gonna be fpx vs dk 5 game series with intense base race where fpx wins.

RNG is like 3rd best team at worlds atm and fnc and psg are like 6th 7th. I don't get why you put T1 clearlly getting out of groups since LCK look so bad this year. Plus is not clear why would lng or gen g clearlly be better then TL. And HLE is not that good as people think
Without any bias, based on the actually games that they have played overall is 1.FPX 2.EDG 3.RNG 4. DWK (i expect they will respect the enemies, draft etc not like how they played this season in lck – for fun) 5. MAD 6. PSG 7-8 100T/FNC 9. LNG 10-11. T1 GEN G 12. TL 13-14 RGE/C9 15.HLE. LCK look so bad this year. Ls put all 3 lck teams as wining their groups but he admits he didn't watch LPL and i am guessing other region also. Is easy to praise LCK on paper if you don't actually look at how they play compared to other teams
