In this stream, I play through the Hazy River mod! ONLY THE HAZY RIVER MOD, NOTHING ELSE, STOP ASKING. I HAVE NOTHING MORE TO OFFER YOU. An extremely fun and engaging mod featuring fan favorites Garcello and Annie, which have come together in a wonderful mashup of funky goodness. My favorite part is when Annie says “It’s morbin’ time” and takes a sip of her drink and absolutely MORBS everyone, what a true morbhead. Oh and also spoiler Garcello dies from lung cancer…

Well if you insist, I guess i could talk about the songs, which are pretty good! They’re all extremely fun to play, well charted, the voices of the characters are very well integrated in the songs, and the difficulty levels are very reasonable! The mod in general is great! The same goes for Maginage Matches, another great mod that I want to praise for absolutely no reason whatsoever, both of these mods feel very well polished! UNLIKE SOME OTHER MODS there’s no weird design choices, no awkward charting and timing in the songs, no extremely random lore dump and exposition text that ends up leading nowhere and leaving more questions than answers for no reason at all, no weird characters that have incredibly uncomfortable interactions with each other, no extremely unwarranted cursing for absolutely no reason, and definitely no insane and unhinged fever dream sequences that leave everyone confused as to why the mod even played out like this.
Hazy River and Maginage Matches feel like a very cohesive, unified and enjoyable experiences, and nothing like CERTAIN MOD where it feels like everyone involved in the making of the mod wanted to insert their weird little fantasies that absolutely no one asked for and then stitched everything together, making the whole experience feel extremely disjointed, unpleasant and unsatisfying.
