  1. Haven’t commented in a while so here goes. With the dream nail you can read minds of npcs as well as enemies. The dream nail allows you to sometimes interact with interesting objects for example the pedestal where the dream shield charm is found. You can now do the thing in the howling cliffs. Fun fact, when the dreamers banish you if you fall you don’t take damage meaning you would have remained trapped. There is also an Easter egg I hope you discover using the ground pound at the well in dirt mouth. each time you are there repeat until something happens. No spoiler just a fun thing.

  2. Here’s a real gross story for ya lol. When I was 16 I was at a buddy’s house for the day. We were drinking pop while playing games. At one point I reached for my pop without looking, not knowing that I grabbed the wrong can. I ended up drinking out of a can my buddy was using to spit into after he would smoke his bong. Cue me running to the bathroom and hurling lol. To this day the memory makes me gag. Worse experience ever lol.

  3. My mom used to work at a Chinese Buffet, and since my dad was out of the picture and she couldnt afford a babysitter her amazing boss would let me chill in the back room on my mom's computer, but anyway I ended up eating a lot of Chinese food
One of my favourite things on the buffet were chicken balls, just. Fried chicken basically
But at point their head chef quit and they hired a new guy
And there I was, chilling in the backroom playing minecraft on my mom's pc, about to take a bite of a chicken ball
And I just get a mouthful of grease
It's been several years, my mom doesnt even work their anymore, and I still can't eat their chicken balls

  4. Now when you acuired the dream nail there's some advice i want to give:
    – A lot of people already said it but you can dream nail literally everything be it an odd looking statue, a corpse, an NPC, an enemy or a boss. Swing this thing around like there's no tomorow!
    – The dreamers, are actally not far from your end goal, but it doesn't mean that the kingdom doesn't hide more secrets. You're not really halfway into the game i'd say so take your time to explore everything! You'll find some interesting stuff, and maybe even unlock an ending or two…

  5. They are half way done with this game. I do have to say that some bosses give essence, whether it be a warrior dream or boss fight 2: electric boogaloo. Oh, before I forget, make sure to go back to the howling cliffs

  6. 8:34 most people refer to the little guy you're controlling as "The Knight", though some call them "Little ghost" or just "Ghost"

As others have said, the Dream Nail can give you lore if you use it on things. Anything that looks in any way distinct is a prime candidate for Dreamnailing: corpses, statues, NPCs, weird rocks. You can also use it on enemies and bosses, but of course, that's not always easy. The whispering roots also have something to tell after you collect all the essence from them.
It can show the thoughts or memories of both the living and dead.

The Dream Nail is one of my favorite aspects of this game. It's such a unique idea, and a great way to absolutely stuff this world with even more lore than it already had.

  7. Okay, so, I ate like 4 slices of toast one time. All of them were coated with a thick layer of Nutella, so I mostly tasted a sweet chocolaty flavor. But after the 4th slice, I felt something bitter tasting… and that's when I looked closer at the slice I was about to put into the toaster and saw all of these green-greyish patches of mold. And the the hurling began ^^'

  8. The only gross food story I can remember having was one time going out to a hibachi buffet with my boss for a lunch break. I wasn't really feeling a lot of what they had out but a saw a label for mac and cheese and figured "Sure, not like you can really fuck up mac and cheese right?" For starters, it looked nothing like mac and cheese, to the point where I dipped my fork in and licked just a little bit of the cheese(?) for a taste test. That alone had me almost throwing up on my boss across the table and to this day I can remember exactly what it tasted like…

  9. Fun fact: It is impossible to meet Cornifer in the Resting Grounds. He will always have moved on while you were trapped in the dream world. I only realised this while watching your video, but the reason it's that way is so that you have a reason to visit Iselda's store, where you will discover the two new types of pin available.

  10. Whoooo! You got the dreamy-nail! 😀 Plenty of solid advice below already regarding its use, so I'll just add there is still at least one excellent reason to return to Crystal Peak before getting too distracted by any or several of the multitude of paths the game is offering you. (You don't HAVE to, obvs, and we're going to keep enjoying your journey regardless, but you might be glad if you do. 🙂 ) Really enjoying the possible lore musings as you find new things. You guys are so fun. This series is my new favourite thing on yt.
