Anyway, Chris finally explains what's going on.
There was foreshadowing for this twist at the start. Can't deny that.
Another odd decision by Heisenberg to just leave a weapon he couldn't manipulate in storage. I guess you could make his creating this make sense since he wouldn't want to accidentally ruin his car with his own powers?
Anyway, we've gone a looooong way from being scared by a demon babby and playing hide and seek with a ghost doll, haven't we?
Heisenberg references Chris's most famous moment and he exploads and naturally he exploded to a far more extreame degree than even his greatest Soldat.
So, Miranda shows up. Does some monologuing (that Ethan really disapproves of), shows she was the old lady and… rips out Ethan's heart (pretty sure Ethan also disapproved of that, but he wasn't able to comment).
So, Ethan's dead. Luckily we have another RE protagonist to take things over. Chris is hunting for bioweapons, once again.
Village has seen better days… that is almost certain.

I couldn't believe how dirty Miranda did Ethan. Had to hide behind her mold branches then proceeds to rip my guys heart out. What kind of fair fight is that?? Ethan was right about her being cowardly. The image of her dousing herself in blood from his heart made me even angrier. I love your reaction when Miranda appeared as The Hag LOOOL!! Who would have thought the main antagonist would be with us at key moments throughout the story. I knew we had to tag Chris in at some point and it's great to blow off some steam while taking control because Miranda needs to PAYYYY!!!
