  4. Mod Context:
    The first one is MX from Mario 85, a corrupted mario found on a super mario bros game cartridge, the story being that a kid named lucas get’s trapped inside of this cartridge, taking the form of luigi, and he becomes MX’s eternal plaything
    The Wario is the Wario Apparition, a famous super mario 64 creepypasta/anomaly, he appears in the 30 star door in the basement, says “you want fun? Wario show you fun!”, and chases mario down a near endless hallway while laughing and gnashing his teeth, eventually catching him, he appears on certain personalized copies and it is said it can cause the player stroke-like symptoms and memory loss
    The Luigi in Your Dear Brother is Mr L from TooLate.EXE. After Mario accidentally killed luigi by making him fall into lava, he begins being hunted by Mr L, Luigi’s vengeful spirit, who ignores his apologies as he endlessly tortures him and tries to kill him in a variety of ways before ultimately killing Mario in the same way he died, cutting the bridge to drop him in lava. The name “Too Late” is supposed to refer to both “it’s too late to apologize” and “it’s too late for you (the player) to save mario”
    The Luigi in Hater is from IHateYou.exe, where luigi betrays mario and mario is forced to kill his own brother by drowning him in lava, and while the creepypasta was a joke, the rom for it was not
    The Luigi in Reprisal is the Cannibal Luigi from Super Mario: Underworld, a live action video in which it depicts what happens to all the marios that seemingly die after falling down a bottomless pit. It depicts them ending up in a forest with the level high up in the clouds, filled with rotton blocks and warp pipes, rusty coins, less than appetizing mushrooms, and freakish versions of enemies. A Luigi seemingly ended up there a long time ago and, in order to survive, had to cannibalize and eat the marios winding up down there, and when he saw the mario we were following, he acted aggressive and tried to kill him, hurling fireballs and attempting to strangle him.
    The Weegee from Obey is Giga-Weegee from Mario & Luigi: Partners in Youtube – Boss: Giga-Weegee, a well made 13 year old ytp depicting a mario and luigi rpg style fight against a giant weegee. The screen is narrow due to the video depicting the narrowness of a recording of the DS’s dual screen.
    The head in Find is a jpg from MARIO, the very first creepypasta rom hack. Depicting Mario atoning for various actions he committed by being forced to go through the memories of what he had done before ultimately dying. The red head was from a jpg that was mistakenly converted into a txt file before being converted back into a jpg, corrupting it to where only the upper half of the head is the only part visible. This image is supposed to depict the crime scene report in the rom hack (believe to be princess peach), stating “Victim #1. Eyeballs were unable to be found. The victim was found lying on her carpet. Causes of the death unknown, handmarks with unidentifiable fingerprints were found all over the corpse.”

Also, the sonic in this mod is Lord X, who comes from the sonic.exe pc port (mx is basically the mario counterpart of lord x), and he’s a sonic.exe based off the original source art for sonic.exe. btw, his true form is underneath what you currently see him as, his current look is just a “skin costume” for his “final vessel” form
