Just a little reference to Leviathan and Cerberus in Cyberpunk 2077. Glad to see CDPR devs are fans of Mass Effect 🙂

  1. That's a nice little reference. But Sandra Dorsett and her quest are actually a bigger easter egg. They're a reference to the book 'Neuromancer'. The book's main character's name is Henry Dorsett Case. Case is also a netrunner, and he deals with an AI capable of brainwashing humans. Although the book uses different terminology, and the AI isn't primarily focused on brainwashing.

  2. Its terminology that has existed in the sourcebooks before mass effect existed, and "harvest like a reaper" is also too vague too be a reference. It's more likely referring to the harvesters faction and their death toll.

  3. Anyone else think the one dude who gives V the Suicide mission looks like like the Elusive man? Rocking those synthetic blue eyes then sending you on a suicide mission in space?

  4. I haven't even payed Cyberpunk yet and I think this is a stretch. While I wouldn't be surprised to hear that CDPR devs are fans of Mass Effect, "Leviathan" and "Cerberus" and "Reaper" are very common references to mythological entities.

Besides, being folks of wealth and taste such as they are…CDPR would reference ME1 and ME2 before ME3 I'd wager.
