I've noticed leaving the stump regrows a tree, but takes a few years. I have never noticed the branches growing into a tree. Clear cutting and digging up stumps means no more trees in area.
In leveling up in hunting, increasing skill the Tracker skill allows you to track animals through the inspector mode. Using the left ALT to trigger the inspector mode. when using skill, green animals (rabbits and foxes) will run away and red (boar and wolves) will attack after being hit.
What will likely happen next episode is you will look at Sobemir and go "Wait, didn't he have a quest for us?". Yes, yes he did. The quest is only valid for 1 season and then disappears. He might have a new one or it might be some other random villager. If you take their quest you have until the next season to finish it. Some quests require you to give them Berries and they start in Autumn so might be a good idea to have a stash as otherwise you will always fail it as quests fail if not completed when the season ends.
There is a phrase I never thought I would hear here, "we'll hoe this up".

For crafting: food items go into food storage (salt included) all other resources get taken and placed into the resource storage. If resource storage is full then crafted items are placed into the building storage.
Didn't the description of the woodshed suggest that it should be built in the forest that you are logging?
Cook for them, they will not take raw meat
Sense you got such big income of meat coming in now maybe sell some of for even more PROFIT!

BTW small bushes don't grow into trees and you do know digging up stumps deforest the area so no trees around woodshed lucky they will walk across the river to get logs

Villagers burn wood for heat. First firewood then logs, i think, then sticks. So make sure you keep enough firewood so they don't use up your logs and sticks.
Also villagers level up their skill. Skill leveling sliws down a lot if you keep koving them one job to another.
