Actually Deft said in an interview that he practiced Draven a lot in scrims and he had good results. However he did not practiced against Senna, he thought it was easily winning so suggested picking Draven into Senna during the draft but it turned out that he found the matchup quite difficult. In the interview he blamed himself really hard as if the botlane were winning, DRX would have had a bigger edge and so he thought they would've been on the winning side easily
