Melee Vs. Double Dash!!: Looking at Longevity in Video Games (pt.1)



In this first part of a three-part series, I’m going to look at the games in the Mario Kart and Smash Brothers franchises, in this case, Melee and Double Dash!!, and see how time has treated them. This isn’t going to be the most in-depth study or whatever you want to call this, but it is interesting to see how certain parts of a game can influence that game’s life cycle.
