  1. By not adding the character base attack you unfairly skew the math in favor of Song of Broken Pines.

Since WG provides more atk % it provides more attack from the character base attack than what SoBP provides.

  2. I feel that still WGS would be better on diluc, just because his playstyle fully benefits from it since diluc is almost all the time in pyro mode. His ult gives him a long duration in pyro and when your normal attacking, those hits become pyro hits so yes attack speed works but your wasting the physical buff from the new claymore. On the WGS your getting the attack percent contributing the pyro hits. And let's not forget the WGS passive is party wide. I'm running a WGS R5 and giving a 80 percent attack party buff in co op is so satisfying.

  3. Well with my insane luck I got 4 wgs on staff of homa banner with around 100 wishes ,so I find it hard to believe this weapon will out damage it at refinement 1. Also its not that great on diluc anyway, more suited for razor or xinyan and of course eula.

Ps. ( my English isn’t good so bear with the grammar mistakes ). and I enjoyed the video, very insightful.

  4. Even tho the atk might look less, buffs favour the weapon with higher base atk…(like say Noblesse, Abyss buff cards, Millelith, Double pyro resonance, Thrilling Tales buff).
    Edit: Nvm it’s explained.

  5. I'm willing to bet that this will be razors best in slot claymore because of the attackspeed buff in top of razors attack speed buff on his ult. as well as his physical attack bonus from leveling him. beidou also has the ascension talent 15% attack speed buff which should scale with this weapon aswell.

  6. For all the chongyun mains out there, song of broken pines IS NOT BETTER than wolfs gravestone for a level 90 chongyun. A chonyun with atk timepiece and 10 percent atk percent runs out to 2177 attack with sbp and 2353 attack with wgs, which is a sizeable difference. Furthermore, a wgs melt chongyun can run em timepiece which scales harder because wgs by itself pushes chongyuns attack to 1384 before artifacts, and 1695 after feather, and further attack gains after 1900 will simply be a diminishing return. Sbs melt chongyun is forced into running attack timepiece. Finally, post buff, wgs has a 2679 attack while post buff sbs has 2367. Im not sure what sekapoko said about diluc, but FOR CHONGYUN, SBS IS DEFINITIVELY NOT BETTER THAN WGS.

  7. I'd say if you run a Diluc/other claymore dps and you don't have a 5* claymore and willing to endure weapon banner pain, the song of broken pines would be a good option. If you have a WGS, you're not going to get a MASSIVE damage increase, but still could be 5-10% better depending on artifacts.

  8. Diluc Últ makes auto pyro so sure it may be better but you wouldn’t get full value from it since the secondary stat is a physical damage buff. While on wolf the Ult can actually proc the damage buff in the passive. However if we are goin off straight auto attack damage w/o the Ult, I do agree that the new weapon is better
