  1. As an ADC, I approve of this. Now my top laners can learn to actually play their lane and stop turbo inting with tp or just plain wasting the slot. And honestly, I don't think this hurts anyone below a certain elo. A majority of players either tp in at the wrong times early game or just use it to get back to lane anyway shrug

    1. Top lane cant get tp frozen on when you kill your opponent early

    2. My teammates wont die then tp int for a second death

    3. Bot lane can play the game

    4. Pro play will have more micro skill expression between lane opponents

  3. So now Katarina has no laning phase and loses 95% of her 1v1 match ups. The only way to carry as Kata is through roaming, macro, and TP. Now Katarina will have 0% winrate because of this. Thanks Riot. BUFF KATARINA FOR FUCK SAKE

  4. idk if tp s useless even with this new effect.. i mean, tp its quite good cuz u can control your lane with out that risk of beeing stomp. If u take ignite and the jg its average then u r fkt cuz he s going to camp your lane af. U just need to send to base 1 time a top laner with ignite and he lose the lane for the entire game.

  5. I love the change honestly, makes the early game less chaotic and laning much more impactful, and dampens the snowballs of TP abusers. This plus the jg changes really is gonna impact the tempo (full clear vs 3 camp gank). Full clear jg paired with a tp laner is gonna be a good combo for late game vs 3 camp jg and ignite laner. Bottom lane gets more sovereignty lol and clusterfucks will be way less likely (outside of global ults which get a buff from this nerf). Really makes you commit to your pace on the loading screen, these changes are gonna shift the meta and I dont think thats a bad thing. Although thats on paper and high elo… low elo they just gonna be mad that free kills are gonna be harder to come by and tp lost its tempo advantage early.

    (im jst happy that top laners can now not tp after a death early to die to a gank right away xD)

  6. hmmm. this change to teleport is big, but kind of bullshit too in my opinion, because hard carry champs like akali and katarina will still take tp, because of their amazing teamfighting, but it will affect champs like yone (my fav <3) who might want to go ignite instead of tp now to increase power in early game for an early solo kill. tbh depends on what people do

  7. For me it is probably one of the best changes in preseason, I was so tired of defensive summoner spell used offensively so Riven or Camille can tp bot behind me at lvl 4 and get a double kill. Also I remember Worlds and seeing both top and mid using tp when there is some fight bot for no punishment at all. Early game should be less chaotic in my opinion. Also let’s not overreact because after 14 minutes tp works normally for the rest of the game.

  8. This change came in because some low elo adc main developer got tired of getting teleported on in the early game and losing lane cause of top diff. His solution. Change teleport not get better at the game. Riot is slowly removing counter play champ by champ item by item and update by update. All these new Champs come out with overloaded kits. Items are overpowerd and remove natural weaknesses to a champ like giving jhin a dash. Now the tp update. Cant roam with to to influence the map with an early lead

  9. Lets say you have a tp instead of recall but that could be used for both recalling back to base or teleporting to a turret structure.(2minutes cooldown) after 14 minutes the tp will allow you to target wards, minions etc.
    At the end of the day this is a team game and all the roles should have some agency in this department.
    In my opinion these riot "developers" should take a look at how work is done by real developers from valve on dota2.

  10. Hmm…not a fan at all. Takes away a lot of playmaking and to me seems like we will see a lot more ghost/flash tops or other summoners that make them even more of an island and not impactful for the team.

  11. why in the hell would you change this? This is the dumbest thing ever. It's a playstyle and a huge sacrifice from lane impact towards map impact. I hate that they're nerfing skill/decision making things for the beta playes who don't realize enemy top laners have TP smh.

  12. I think that poeple will drasticly less take teleport because poeple folow trends but I don't think that this change will be very noticiable in solo queue, but in organized groups this is a game changer and imo a fair one
