The new tricky update in friday night funkin was amazing. I really liked this tricky version 2 update, the story and all the new tricky phases were amazing. Hank’s part in this new mod was also incredible. The tricky update 2 is probably one of my favourite friday night funkin mods of all time. Overall the fnf tricky full update, the tricky phase 3 and tricky phase 4, was great.

I could be wrong, but I think the Tricky we fight in Expurgation is the Canon Tricky as opposed to the FNF version that the mod is centred around.
Hence questions like "where's Hank?" "why can't I kill?" "where am I?" and "who are you?"
If Expurgation were just a time skip then Tricky should at least know who BF is, but the Expurgation Tricky doesn't recognise him.
On top of that the style changes slightly in Expurgation, Tricky looks more like how he did in the OG series than he does in this mod.
Maybe the version of Madness that is canon to FNF is the Madness Accelerant version? I don't know, just some food for thought.
