  1. My problem with Among Us is that I met these guys (Toast, Poki, Corpse, etc) thru these videos, and I spent SO MANY HOURS already binge watching their videos because I feel like I'm playing with them. The problem is that I'm actually not, and while I feel good watching them, as soon as I cut the video, I feel alone again.

I got stuff to do, and I do have some friends to talk with. But I don't have a group like that to play with, and so.. it has become a bit of a low-level addiction let's say.

  2. I feel like you won't get burned out in Among Us if you find people you genuely enjoy playing with. Like I'm watching videos of AMong Us still and each game is sooo different, Toast always trying new strategies and stuff. I have a group I looove playing with and it's just so fun every time and the more we playing the more the dynamic changes and it's just always something new.

  3. Iโ€™m really happy that I found Toastโ€™s Among Us videos, because from that I found OfflineTv, Sykkuno, and a lot of other people too. Now Iโ€™m addicted to watching them play Minecraft together on their new server

  4. Yep. Like Scarra said it's basically mafia. The strongest power in the game is the vote, and so at it's core it's leveraging human interaction – of course winning is the goal, but before that you have to go in with the attitude to play – cos then you organically produce positive human interaction – which I feel is the best content in lockdown.

  5. As a board gamer, Iโ€™m a huge fan of what Scarra is saying. The game is awesome, and I hope more people get into hobby board games from Among Us, they are called social deduction games. But Iโ€™m afraid people will just die off with boredom and not take that next step in this awesome genre of board games where and at this point when you can actually be around others. In such a tech based world which allows us to communicate from a distance which is awesome…but I really hope people find out these games exist outside of technology.

  6. This video is from september 2020. I think in the beggining people were more manipulative and kinda scary, but now I think in general we're playing more chilled and just to have fun – so we use more logic, or jokes, or we simply accept being caught on a lie instead of pushing it over that line.
