This build is built around earthquake and leap, the seismic set to buff damage to bleeding targets, and uses 2 weapon mods that activate on the first bullet of each magazine. This means when your skills are down, your primary source of damage is to shoot, reload, shoot, reload. In CT15 expeditions with a lot of high health elites, scrap grenade and grand opening can outshine earthquake. Most importantly, these two weapon mods allow you to pump out a lot of single target damage when paired with the bleeding damage bonus, which is often the weakest part of devastator builds.

The general gameplay consists of trying to hit as many enemies as you can with earthquake, not only for the damage but also to apply bleeding, and using leap to reach far off enemies, or to get into a better position to hit more enemies with earthquake. Every time you use golem you’ll proc +45% anomaly damage from the Paladin talent in your class tree, so using that before pumping out your earthquakes is a big damage boost.

Note: This build is missing the Despair armor mod, which would likely be a major boost, so I suggest you try that if you have it.

Have also gotten 8:55 Chem Plant and 6:04 Boom Town, it seems to work well in all expeditions.

  2. Just built a [shitty] version of this build for my lvl 41 Devestator and I am a little blown away by its power. I have none of the gear but I jumped a couple of CTs just by trying out a bleed build. Great work. Gonna aspire for this build.

  4. I love everything about this besides Scrap Grenade. I keep seeing it in builds. Shoot, reload, shoot… doesn't seem like a fun mechanic to play around. Unfortunately it's really strong.

  5. Bravo! … I think most people that play and create content for games like Outriders only know "loot games" via what we call "Looter-Shooters" and only think of building characters a certain way because of that. From the gear sets and the skills in the game, I'm sure the Outriders devs were aiming to create a new Looter-shooter entry that allowed for builds like this that resembles what we see in traditional ARPG games, like Diablo and Path of Exile.

Like in ARPGs, it would be great if a class or two best build was AOE and a class or two best build was single target…. this would explain and leave room for how the current state of Devastator SEEMS to be slightly lacking on single target, gun damage builds, when compared to other classes.

Now, if we can somehow get high mob density in a third-person shooter; density that demands more AOE. That would be great!

  6. Hey dude, excellent stuff, as I predicted, Dev can be amazing but is very gear dependent.

BTW: Your secondary and sidearm seem very low lvl… and that affects your "Average Item Level Bonus"… which give you a ton of extra anomaly and health. Yours seems 46-47. At 50 average item level the gains should be great, so upgrade the level of those 2 weapons or swap them for some lvl 50s and you should be even more powerful/tanky. Basically for free.

  7. One thing worth trying is taking off the Bleed duration stuff on the tree and moving straight up to Heirloom Armor. Bleed duration doesn't do much since you're killing quickly with the stacked damage, and it would allow you to remove Emergency Stance and add another mod for more damage

  8. have you tried the armor shred mod t1 or t3 instead of the gravity leap dmg mod? i would assume with 3 uses of quake the dmg should get up quite a bit especialy with the t3 one that permanently reduces the armor by 20%
