  1. Best things about the game:

-Trickster (feels like playing a completely different game, visually striking game-changing abilities, great synergy between even the most basic abilities, very potent and versatile skill set)

-Characters like Shira and Seth are interesting, story could be fun if they build up on what they have.

-Ability to switch assigned skills at any time is nice to have.

-The dynamic difficulty/world tiers and how it ties with loot and dying, more games need to have this, very good idea.

    Worst things about the game:

-Loading screens, the fucking loading screens (it is very annoying on PS4, way too many and too long, enter a quest area .. loading screen .. start cutscene .. loading screen .. exist cutscene .. another loading screen .. etc)

-Repeatable side-quests ruin immersion, because it makes your actions don't feel like they have any impact on the world, there are far better ways to allow grinding (like specified hub areas with non-stop respawning enemies/elites)

-Movement feels floaty and no jumping down ledges or across gaps (literally had to watch a cutscene to be able to across a small chasm in one of the side-quests, sigh, that feels very outdated)

    -Limited character customization

-Skill tree feels meh overall, hopefully mods can make up for that.

Aside from the story segments and the Trickster, I'm feeling a bit lukewarm about this game, it didn't impress me as much as Remnant did back when it came out, hopefully the full game will be better, will wait for reviews.

  2. I just cannot see why anyone would suggest this game to someone over something like Remnant or The Division, or even Destiny. I put like 7 hours into the demo, tried out all the classes, and it just isn't doing anything special that those titles don't already do. I felt like they push the cover system on you but I found using cover was constantly to my detriment, especially once I hit the level cap. Using cover and vaulting felt super clunky, I imagine it'll be smoothed out in release but it just never felt good. Based on the demo, it's absolutely nuts to me that this has an $80 price tag when you could grab Remnant – one of the most unique 3rd person, 3-player co-op games ever – for literally half of that PLUS DLC.

  3. I wanted it to be good, but I just wasn't feeling it. The level design was awful, it's ugly, the controls didn't feel right, but the loot and skill trees may bring me back if the release is more polished.

  4. This actually looks like a really good game. Btw, completely random but, I downloaded Nioh 2 on my pc just recently for the 2nd time and I’ve tried reinstalling the game, steam, verifying the integrity of the files, basically everything, and I still can’t get the game to play. I’m getting Steam Error: 3:0000065432 and I’ve never had this issue until this game.

  5. They said the game is delivered as a full package. No waiting for new content or stuff like that. I like that concept and i like the game. A ton of fun because it rewards aggressive playing and you not just hide behind cover

  6. Very much agree with the review. The first experience can be "meh" for people, while you try to use cover and haven't yet unlocked all the abilities. Once you can ditch your least favorite ability, can get out of cover and get at least greens to start building something, it's a lot better. Not a destiny killer, but some good fun. Seems a bit overpriced at launch though, but once it hits 30-50% off, should be well worth it.

  7. I haven't been able to get past the first hour without being bored to death. Also cut scenes are locked at 30 fps. It Def needs to be optimized tho. It runs worse than borderlands 3 and tbe maps are huge on Bl3

  8. I think this is a refreshing take on the looter shooter. I like the heavier rpg elements, and the class tree. I hope they expand on it. I do hope that at some point some form of pvp is implemented. Maybe not direct pvp, but maybe a mode like gambit from destiny, or something of the like.

  9. I really don't know why is only online, they can make it like Borderlands. Screw DRM, they even said it's finished game, not live service. I hate when single player games push for only online. When servers are gone, bye bye game.

  10. Put about 15 hours in the demo, on base Xbox it was really clunky and I was disappointed.
Tried it out on PC and it felt much better and I’ve had a ton of fun playing with devastator. Definitely going to purchase!

  11. Man the technomancer is so dang fun. I can’t wait to do a 3 turret build. I just hope that maybe they can shorten some load times for the Xbox one before release. There are so many loading screens. I must say I didn’t hear about this game til today and I’m having a lot of fun even with the demo.

  12. I had alot of fun playing it. Some of the stuff that happens in the story is so off the wall it had me rolling, so I wanted to keep playing. I'd like a better character creator though.

  13. My quick take away points after about 2 hours: The cover system seems a bit inconsistent and awkward. There are a lot of clipping issues with hair and cloth in the cut scenes. I dont like having to pick up dropped loot by pressing a button, maybe its just coming from a lot of games where loot is just collected as you walk over it. Getting out of the red grenade circles seems hard especially if you are in cover. Its a fun game so far, the guns feel good. The story seems interesting. So far its better than I had imagined. Definitely worth playing the demo.
